how does the whole process work?

I shipped the item. its said it was received. what am I supposed to do?

why is it closed? can I reopen the closed return? or do I have to go through my cc and get a chargeback?

So you are the seller, you shipped an item, the buyer opened a 'not received' but was denied by ebay and it was closed. You don't need to 'look at' the closed case...but either way; 

WHY would YOU open a Chargeback with your credit card if you are the seller that shipped something?

I’m assuming you’re the buyer, since I don’t see any current or past items for sale on your account.

I don’t know what has happened so far in the return process, but if you have a tracking number that shows delivery of the item back to the seller … then contact your credit card company, give them the tracking number, and request a chargeback.

They shipped back a return most likely and then just never escalated the case and it timed out after 21 days.

yes, exactly. I have never returned an item. the person sold a fake bearing. it also said seller pays shipping back and seller confirmed it.  you can see the package says LLU, bearing says LU. NTN would NEVER make such a mistake. also no wrapping. wound up buying from a great uk seller the bearings I needed.

MANY fake counterfeit bearing sellers from asia.  this is a haven for fake items and ebay turns a blind eye for profit

first time doing a return

I sent the item back

it still says in customs (around 1.5 months) but imo it could be the seller didnt want to pickup the item. what happends when you sent an item back but the seller never picks it up or the item never makes it to the seller?

return was closed, what are my options? I put up money for return (seller said he will reimburse) and now lost money for the refund of the fake bearing he sent me (hence the return)?
