I sold a laptop on here AS-IS Does not work. Buyer kept it for 5 days and then put in a return request saying the item was not as described. Remember it was sols As-Is. When I got it back after eBay automatically approved the return it was missing parts. I looked up the buyer and he sells refurbished laptops the same as the one he bought from me. When I reported it to eBay I was told nothing they can do because the buyer was a stellar seller. I was out $250. It is sad how people manipulate and lie and eBay stands behind them.

Sorry this happened.

Sadly, it happens on occasion. eBay does the best they can but unfortunately sometimes decent sellers get hurt.

The buyer wasn't there @brianscloset2020 beside you to see what the "is" in "as-is" was, before they bought it.

As-is only means something when the buyer can look over the item in-person, to decide on its condition.
