So I bought a,video card for a PC. The first package comes and it's 5 ounces 5inches addressed to fake name and address from albany ny with a return address of an auto parts store in chicago .Now a video card is over 12 inches and weighs like 5 pounds. It was refused by post office for fake name andxaddress and sent back. Then another package shows up but thisxone from Los Angeles dropped in a kiosk same tracking number fake name address and refused by post office. At this point my postmaster got postal inspectors involved. This then happened 2 more time total of 4 packages so far with fake name and address same tracking number and all about 5 ounces and fake return address. . So ebay says I'm refusing the packages but I'm not its the post office. I can't even touch them they aren't addressed to me. So I send eBay all sorts documents including a signed dated stamped letter from a postal official at the post office saying what I'm writing basically. I then get a message from a GRACE at customer help who says this is HER expertise and with all documentation provided I will be for sure getting a refund when case closes on June 12th. We'll this morning I get a message case is closed and I was denied a refund. 636 dollars denied over incompetence. Now it's in appeals. Over 3 weeks this has been going on. I have spent hours getting documentation, emailing the stuff, and talking on phone to be denied. I am a 25 year veteran of ebay buying and selling and the seller was a new seller. If this is how a company treats a loyal seller and buyer then it's time to run away as fast as you can.

It's not eBay faults, but their system is rather difficult to have an actual human being look into the details, besides, the amount of time involved for someone to investigate far outweigh their cost. But as a rule, is to buy expensive items from a more reputable seller, such as a brick-and-mortar store where there is a guarantee that is worth is weight in gold. Sure, it might cost more, but it certainly can save you time, money and headaches. As @bonjourami said, file claim against the credit card, and seek your item in other location.

Not sure as I didn't get an explanation but I called my bank in morning and by afternoon Ebay had reversed my claim denial in favor of me and my money was back within a day.
