Ebay is not allowing a return after a closed case

Customer opened a case stating they didn't receive item, when in reality they received an incorrect item. They then closed the case and now ebay will not give them an option to request a return. How can I get this return taken care of so that I am able to make the swap on the items ?

Just refund the the money it costs to ship the item back to you.

Item not received cases closed should have no impact on filing a return.

 

As long as it's within 30 days buyer should be able to open return request.

 

They can contact ebay support maybe via Help and Contact.

 

Or you can handle return outside of return request via messages.

 

I personally would just give them a label off pirateship or something and send via message and give them refund once I get it. Then have them repurchase if they still want. Probably give them discount because inconvenience.
