Refund not received, item shipped back to the seller

Hello,

I initiated a return for refund and the item was shipped back to the seller. The return details say I should have received my money back on 09.11.2021, but the refund was not issued and no money received back. The message says I can ask ebay to step in on 10.11.2021 which is today, but I don't find a button or any option how to ask ebay for this.

Please help!

You will need to access the case from within eaby, I would prefer a desktop or laptop but I suppose a droid / ios-device would do. Once inside the case you should see a button or option to "ask eaby to step in," I am thinking it's actually a link and it's kind of on the small side so look for it.

Also you may have to wait until later in the day...

Eaby's headquarters run on Pacific time, as do all their servers.

I don't think that you can normally ask ebay to step in until the following day after the date they give you so might not be able to do so until tomorrow.  Does the delivery confirmation show that the seller received the item back?  Normally the refund would be issued two or three business days after delivery confirmation shows that the item was received by the seller.

If there was no tracking number entered in the return case, you will probably have to contact ebay to enter the number. One way to do that is by sending customer service a message through ebay on Facebook.

I am wondering about the date that you gave for ebay to step in.  In the US that date you gave would be October 11 and today is November 10 so you might have waited too long??
