Refund from scammers from China.

Hello everyone.

I bought a jack from China on April 26 on ebay. The announcement said that there is a refund. The product has not arrived today, the seller does not respond to my SMS.

What should I do, how to get my money back?

How can a company as big and strong as ebay not give a guarantee of funds? I contacted the support service in the Facebook group but they say they can’t help.

How to find out what products ebay gives a guarantee. money back and how to get your lost money back from scammers. Why are they allowed to sell on ebay?

Confusing for sure. What announcement said there was a refund, and what makes you think you won't get your money back?

Confusing for sure. Did the seller cancel the transaction and you were notified he refunded you? If you paid by cc, it can take at least one billing cycle before you see it.If you paid by Paypal, this is a holiday week end here, you wont see it for a few days.

ALL eBay buyers, as well as eBay sellers, need to familiarize themselves with eBay's Money Back Guarantee, preferably BEFORE beginning to buy or sell here.

In the listing, you saw an estimated date of delivery.  If/when your purchase has not arrived within a few days past that date, you have 30 days to open an item not received case.

Have no idea exactly what you have done so far.  You had no reason or need to message the seller.

Just open the case.  What "announcement"? 

eBay's Money Back Guarantee is very good and applies to almost everything sold here.  You evidently failed to learn about it.

You mentioned that you communicated with seller via SMS, which is texting, did you do your transaction within eBay, or outside eBay, since the only communication between buyers/sellers is through eBay. If you did transaction outside eBay, then I'm afraid that eBay has absolutely nothing to do or assists. As others suggested, perhaps do a chargeback through your payment source. Good luck.

Did you get an email from ebay saying that you will get a refund?   Go to MY EBAY. Look under PURCHASES. Find your item.  Do you see the word REFUNDED somewhere on the details page?  If yes, you will get the refund.  It will go back to whatever your original source was.   If it was paypal,  go to paypal and sign in.  Do you see an email or a transaction for this showing a refund?

How can someone who has made many purchases not bothered to read eBay Money Back Guarantee that is virtually every listing?

If you don't receive an item your ordered by the expected delivery date you find the listing in your Purchase History.  In "more actions" you report you haven't received it yet. The seller will have 3 business days to respond with proof of delivery or a refund. The refund goes back to the source. Credit cards make take a few days to a billing period to show up.

I work only through ebay. I wrote to the seller via ebay, but the seller ignores me and does not answer. I wrote to the community as a pyoneer, but so far there is no result.

I opened a dispute on ebay, then three days passed and the seller did not answer. Ebay says that in this section of the store he does not guarantee a refund.

There has to be something missing here.  You actually opened an item not received case with eBay?

After 4 days, you could have returned to the case and asked eBay to step in.  Apparently you didn't do that for some unknown reason.

As others have recommended, your only option now would be a charge back on your credit card.

Don't understand your last sentence.  Have you read the Money Back Guarantee?

You say you bought the item on April 26, what was the last estimated delivery date when you bought it?  If you had read the terms of ebay's Money Back Guarantee, you would know you had 30 days from the last estimated delivery date to file an Item Not Received dispute.  If the seller did not reply within 3 days, you could have asked ebay to step in and get a refund.

Sellers would not reply to messages not sent through ebay's message system.  If you sent the message through ebay messages, and the seller does not respond, and if it is less than 30 days from the last estimated delivery date, Click on  the Return item button on your purchase history page, there is an option for I have not received my item on the page that opens.  You can skip the suggestion to contact the seller, since you tried already.

I wrote an SMS via ebay. The expected delivery date was June 28, 2022. I wrote to the seller on June 30, 2022 and then again on July 1, at the same time I wrote to ebay.
