Has anyone every had to do a credit card stop payment because the seller wouldn't exchange or replace damaged goods & eBay will only help if you return the whole order. I made a purchase & some items were damaged because the seller improperly wrapped them. I do not want to return the whole order, I never did, because it has already been installed on a vehicle & the seller will probably not resell me this item. All I wanted was to exchange the damaged parts or get a refund to cover the cost of the parts but neither the seller or eBay will do anything but say return everything for a refund. I do intend on paying the seller once this issue is solved. So has anyone had to resort to this? I gather eBay hadn't closed your account, or you wouldn't be answering me, so I curious to hear your story.

5 desktop computers, each with a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, were purchased. But only a box with no padding just large enough for all 5 computers squeezed together inside arrived.
After the seller insisted tracking proves everything was delivered, the card issuer forced a partial refund on a chargeback documented with that manufacturer's list prices on the missing monitor/keyboard/mouse times 5.
