Hi! I wanted to stop in at and say thank you to everyone in the community for all your help. If any of you remember this was a first sale for me. Unfortunately on my first sale I got a scammer. He did ship back an item but it was an incorrect item he purposely shipped back to me. I couldn’t believe it when I opened it. Totally different item than what I shipped him. However, I’m happy to report that I did indeed fight it tooth and nail lol, and eBay sent me this:

As a one-time courtesy to the buyer, we've covered this refund because the item was not returned to you in its original condition.

I also received a separate email from eBay thanking me for all my hard work and providing them with so much information regarding the issue.
“First of all, I totally commend your willingness and efforts in resolving this through our process. Your professionalism is truly commendable. And since I have validated the affidavit that you submitted as required to proceed with the process, I have decided to close the case in your favor.”
Ebay released the funds which were on hold on my account and I was able to get paid for the item 😀 I reported the buyer to eBay for abusing the money back guarantee. I also reported him to USPS and IC3.gov. I called eBay tonight and spoke with support on the phone, told them all the details and reports I had made, and within hours the funds were released to me after I signed an affidavit sent to me through email by eBay stating the item was indeed different than what I had sent the buyer.
So he did get a refund. He also kept the original item and shipped me a fake but I also got paid so I’m not complaining. All in all I’m happy. Thank you all for your help.
