First time, I sent the wrong item to buyer

First time sent wrong item to buyer, I immediately sent a refund, but doing that cause where the buyer couldn't request a return label. So Buyer sent it back and paid shipping, so I need to find how to send the buyer the shipping fees.

I'm not sure why the buyer couldn't request a return label.

They should have filed an item not as described which would have given you the option to send them one they could print and funds would have been deducted from your account.

If you and your buyer have PayPal that is probably the best way to return the money for return shipping since you have already refunded. 

If you are able to bring up the order and see that the refund option is still open perhaps you can use but I don't think it is able to be used since you already refunded.

I'm far from the smartest so if this doesn't work someone will be along shortly to help.

You and the buyer will have to figure out a way to do it.

Maybe Pay Pal, Cash App, Venmo or another service you both use.

Or send the buyer a check.

You made a mistake which you know. When a return is needed the buyer needed to file a return. You jump the gun and refunded them. The case is closed. There is nothing you can do through Ebay. You could try to send shipping cost via mail or other services but hopefully the system doesn't look at that as you doing a transaction outside Ebay cause right now the deal is dead.

Do not refund first. Allow the return process to function. Refunds override a return.
