Hello eBay veterans. As you can tell I'm pretty new. I've sold a 48 disc box set of Star Trek the Next Generation that was in very good condition. Unfortunately, even though it was packaged up with air cushions it still got busted up during shipping through USPS. The buyer has contacted me but has not yet put in a return request. I list my items as no returns but obviously if something arrives broken then they are not getting what they paid for. This was the only copy I had since it was from my personal collection. I'm going to ask for the buyer to put in a return request so I can get them a label to ship it back but I wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing. Are there any options that I overlooked? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Did the buyer send photos of the damaged items?
If they were all busted, you have to decide if it would be worth paying return shipping?
If not, i would just refund the buyer.

Does the buyer want to return it all or would part refund for the damaged disks be alright with them?
Your right no returns means nothing if the item arrives damaged or is not as described. In fact it means nothing and a buyer can return an item for any reason by the way.

They buyer did send photos but haven't stated what they want to do. The box is damaged and one of the cases is cracked, the discs might all be okay so I would prefer that they send it back and I can check all the discs and either keep them or sell as is at a discounted price.

To add: Hopefully you sent this USPS Priority Mail.. you get up to $100 in insurance automatically, if I remember right.. get photos from the buyer of the packaging, and damage

@dogrosestudio Well sounds like you've already made up your mind on how to handle. Best of luck to you....
