Bought something international, attempted delivery once, USPS returning to sender. Help!

I bought two things, they were promptly shipped from Australia to the US. USPS attempted delivery once, I was not home. They left the paperwork on the door, I scheduled redelivery on the website, but they never redelivered. Now the packages are being returned to Australia.

Yes, I know I should have gone to the post office. No, I didn't. I was busy working. I thought they would deliver the packages. I put in for a return on eBay but they won't accept the old tracking number, which shows it being returned to sender, and I don't have any new tracking numbers.

Help!

Delivery attempt voids the buyer's eBay Money Back Guarantee coverage on a non-receipt claim.

You can explain to the seller and ask if the seller is willing to refund you (less shipping/fees) when the item is returned.

If Seller refuses to work with you then you will have to file a item not received chargeback with what you used to pay.

Which you should have no issue wining as all you have to do is show the tracking is return to sender.
