ANYONE EVER HEARD OF a crooked EBAY return ending up in court?

It just popped into my head, a super sad post by a lady who sold an iPhone 9-10??   been a while back but phone was at top food chain at time.     The buyer claimed  something wrong then returned some old junk phone and soon as delivered  ebay(as expected)  deducted the money from her account and she out grand or something pretty big and she holding $20 piece junk.    BUyer wasn't real far away and everyone was talking legal matters etc.   I realize most sales are far off and not feasible.   Hiring a lawyer there probably too expensive.     In small claims court there would be no reason a defendant(the crooked buyer) would even show up at such an open and shut case like above scenario   I ain't no lawyer but some of the goings on with FEEBAY MBG seem illegal

Judge Judy would tear them a new one I bet

Not a return but it did involve cell phones.

What if the seller google the buyer and describe in a polite friendly manner their house and car and such in an email to the buyer...

Would the buyer be paranoid looking over their shoulder for a while...while the buyer doesn't know how the seller knows they got that information...wait...sounds like a movie before?

Thanks for posting that.  So old I think was before ebay MBG?  Otherwise she would just open up INDA case and get refunded.  WITHOUT Judge Judy    I suppose seller would have to file in buyers city?????

Why would the seller file anything in that situation? The seller is the one that was a scammer in that video, trying to get away with selling photos of iPhones in the iPhones category.

Yes, it's a pretty old video. Unless my memory is wrong, that seller struggled to get her life on track and eventually succumbed to an overdose.
