REgarding the usual cat and mouse game that ebay plays with the updates.......
It would certainly be more professional if they would announce it in advance so people could block out some time for it....so we don't have to bounce around searching for it every day for a couple of wks........

Managed Payment account balance?
Managed Payments transactions downloads do not include an "account balance" column. One account for 2022 started with a balance of -$0.30. The beginning balance of another account cannot be determined without going back to the time when the account was created several years ago. Is there a way to determine the current MP account balance?

@tsme35 We know that this has been a popular ask for a while and the Mobile App team is looking into solutions of having this added as an option at some point.

From time to time on the Seller Forum a seller will start a thread asking for the ability for sellers to be able to leave negative feedback be reestablished for sellers. No matter how much explaining that this is a very bad idea and certainly a poor business practice, they seem passionate about it for whatever reason they may have.
I do understand the passion, just not their reasoning. But there is something, again I bring up at every meeting I get invited to, and I'm always told it is a great idea, but there it lies year after year. Most if not all sites like or similar to Ebay have STOPPED having buyer feedback all together.
So many issues would be solved if Ebay implemented this too. I know it would take a bit of getting use to by the buyers, but they will be fine.

When is ebay going to go to bat for the sellers with the USPS and their raising rates 3x a year. I know ebay doesn't control rates but you do have lobbyist in congress to do something about it or at least raise a stink. I've contacted every politician in my state, they don't care about one person. How about running a campaign like you did with the 1099's, send out emails to pass along to elected officials. I know my inventory has dropped 50-60% in the last couple years, just no profit in alot of items anymore.

A new tutorial in the right rail on the community might be in order. There is often great concern by some buyers regarding how electronic payments get processed. They often think that they get charged twice, call Ebay all kinds of names and have hard feelings about it. I think we lose some good buyers over this and we could help them with some better understanding.
Many don't seem to understand that a pending entry is generated when their account gets pinged for their payment. Later when the payment actually processes through to the financial institution there is a regular charge on their account and the pending entry gets removed. But sometimes there may be a little delay in that Pending entry from being removed. Not much but some and many think they are getting charged twice.
Anyway I think we can do a better job of informing our buyers of this process.

Agree 100% with dhbookds-----provide the Seller Update date IN ADVANCE so people can block out some time to review and discuss it. Again, ebay talks about seller engagement, but that would be proof that ebay actually wants to engage.
One last question: any plans for an eBay Live this year?
