Hi everyone! Thanks for joining us for the Weekly Chat with eBay Staff. We don't have a specific topic this week, so feel free to share any general buying or selling questions you may have!
The chat thread will remain open until 2 PM PT at which point we'll close it from additional responses. After that time, we'll continue to work on responding to any queries that might still be unanswered.
To post your question, click Reply in the lower right corner of this post, type your question, and hit submit between 1-2 PM Pacific Time. The format of our chat mirrors the format of our Community Discussion Boards, where each post will appear in the thread chronologically. The Community Team will review each question as it comes in, and will quote the original question in our reply. This quote and the reply will appear later in the thread, so just keep scrolling down to see our answers.

Hi @gwzcomps, our delivery estimates are based on the shipping service, location of both buyer and seller, and historical data. That being said, if you are seeing instances where the estimated delivery date is within your stated handling time, be sure to report the details for review.

The only way EDD would be within the stated handling time is if eBay ignored the seller's handling time. Oh, wait, yes, that's exactly what they do!
Hi @vrykalak, this is why I recommended reporting the details for review. Obviously if the estimated delivery date is within the seller's stated handling time, the handling time was not taken into account fully. This may be a result of the seller's historical shipping habits, but it's definitely something we can review for improvements.

I just did here I suppose I can repost them on another board then.
Thanks anyways.
Hi @windhaze, I just want to clarify that the portion of my reply you are quoting is in reference to your question about who is in charge of the boards and how you can report issues. The answer is that you can report any Community problems directly to the Community Team hear on the boards. The rest of your post highlights some technical issues you have run into recently that we do not have additional information on, so I directed you to the Community Platform Feedback board since the weekly chat is only open for an hour and I thought you may need to share more details after the chat was closed or want to keep an eye on that board for updates on technical issues.
