Hi @vrykalak - as far as I'm aware that has not been altered. While First Class will become zone rated, you are still able to go up to 16 ounces.
I'll double check with shipping and update you as I hear back!
Hi @vrykalak - got a quick confirmation on this one! Yes, you will still be able to use eBay labels for First Class Packages up to 15.99oz. Thanks!
Thank you!
I sell lots of small things, and only First Class has low enough shipping cost to make that possible.

Being we may see changes according to all the articles posted in the news lately about Elliot Management - and hope they are all good - I just received notice that another site I sell on is going to give automatic 5 star ratings if a buyer doesn't leave feedback. They have a shorter time for buyers to open a case but these are how other sites are handling things to show buyers how good their sellers are as we know we're lucky if 30% of your buyers leave feedback.
"We hear you. Going forward, auto-rated transactions will now be given 5 star reviews.
How does this work?
If it’s been 3 days past confirmed delivery and the buyer has not rated the seller or requested a return, the seller will receive an auto-rating."

Thanks Brian. Any idea how much advance notice sellers will get on this site, before the official retirement date?@my-cottage-books-and-antiques , just to clarify, we announced that Turbo Lister would no longer be supported a couple years ago. Around that time, the option to download Turbo Lister was removed from the site as well. I don't know how much advance notice will be provided prior to Turbo Lister being fully retired on the .com site. Seller Hub is our focus and we encourage sellers to start utilizing it's features now to help ease the transaction from Turbo Lister to Seller Hub.
AND a couple of years ago, at the time TL was said to be going to be disc., it was promised by Ebay that would NOT happen until SH had ALL the same advantages that TL had......... Unless I can store 1000 listings on SH for an indefinite period of time AND work on it off line.........that promise has NOT been kept..... Could you check and see if it's just going to be another broken promise by Ebay?
Hi @dhbookds,
We are committed to building new features in Seller Hub. There are a number of enhancements coming in the next couple of months. If Turbo Lister works well for you, then you can continue to use it. When the features you need are available in Seller Hub, you can switch over to Seller Hub.
Thanks.

Why is it that I still have to give guidance to buyers on how to determine the shipping cost for multiple items ?
Could it be there is a problem with the shipping calculator ? According to eBay - thats a big fat no but according to new buyers it seems to be a general misunderstanding on how to determine the shipping cost for multiple items of the same item. So if we have 20 in one particular listing and the buyer wants 10 of them the buyer sees a shipping cost for one shipping option only even though we offer 4 shipping options. The one option they are seeing is the lowest cost one and its usually 1st class mail but when they add 10 to the bag they are seeing the 1st class rate multiplied by 10 even though Priority Mail or UPS Ground is much cheaper.
I get this question several times a week and I'm glad I get it to tell the buyer however how many buyers arent asking this simple question that makes the functionality of the website seem to complexed? How many missed sales or eBay fees are we missing out on because the buyer cannot seem to operate your shipping calculator.
If you are seeing high rate of abandoned carts well this is one of your reasons.Hi @mendelsons, I will be happy to look into this further for potential improvements to the buyer experience if I can get some examples from you. Would you be able to share some item numbers here? If you would prefer I will email you directly to get this information and test out the experience on my end, no problem.

Item numbers

362495756477
380901746146Just a few examples and I can get your more examples but change the quantity to like 10 see what the rates do. For some reason most of the buyers asking are only seeing one option for shipping cost and Im not sure if its a mobile thing or pc checkout but there is certainly a problem

Any luck on helping re-create the problems these buyers are continually having with trying to figure out how much shipping will be or how much shipping is when they reach checkout ? Because today I lost another sale that i would be glad to share the 6 messages back and forth with the buyer. This is a problem that needs fixed.
There has been a problem with your shipping calculator for years I know because I was a loud voice in here last year when the shipping calculator didn't work for 9 months after an update.
So I need some help and I cannot believe I'm the only seller experiencing this. Isn't anyone else trying to sell multiples of the same item with several shipping options ?
Hi @mendelsons, no update on a fix but I can confirm that our tech teams were already working on this and appreciated the examples you provided last week. They have other examples as well so I can reassure you that you aren't the only one running into this issue and improvements are something we are looking into. I will contact you if I need anything else for the investigation but at this time, it does look like this is something our developers are aware of and already working on.

Hi Trinton
I know you have replied on threads about Handy services.
I am now Seeing a service named Porch
https://www.ebay.com/cdp/help/home-installation/porch
now how does ebay decide which service to add to a listing
Handy Vs. Porch
And how does ebay determine which items to put it on?
I have Curtain holdbacks with the Porch services added to my listing yet other sellers who offer the same item do not have Porch services offered on their items.
Now even if an item falls under the category Curtain hardware ebay is adding this service to some & not others
Magnetic tie backs don't need this service yet some sellers like below have it on their listing & others in the same exact category do
How is this happening. Better yet if ebay is to offer these services shouldn't they figure out a better way to decide which items this gets attached to.

What is US Campaign? Also would like to suggest that when relisting an item the promote your item selection box default to unchecked.

That works for that site because they have 3 day returns. I sold a ton over there last year then it died. 😀

Someone asked me the other day about eBay Open.....I think you guys already announced it will be in Vegas again this year, but date and hotel haven't been announced yet. Is that right?
Hi @my-cottage-books-and-antiques - no official announcement as yet, but we'll make sure that you're aware as soon as we have details to share!
Between you, me and the kitchen sink, Vegas in the summer is a great time and place to talk about your eBay Business. 😉 (don't book a hotel or anything yet, as we're still working on the deals you would get with the hotel that hasn't been announced).
