Hi Trinton and Alan
A couple of things. Buyers are very upset and this thread is an example of US sellers either drop shipping from China or the overseas seller saying the item location is in the US so they can go around the filters. This really needs to be addressed.
Also - if Lithium does updates - can we please get an ignore button! There are at least 7 new posting ids within the past 2 weeks that like to do nothing but bait people. I've been called to multiple threads by these new IDs and consider it harrassment and have notified the mods to the situation. I don't know if these are people on suspensions - circumventing the block or what but it's time those causing problems are dealt with instead of telling those of us trying to help out on the boards to just ignore them.
Hi @tunicaslot,
We do not allow item location misrepresentation; it is a violation of this policy. Members have the ability to report suspected violations to us through the listing page, click the 'Report Item' link and then select the following from the drop-downs:
Listing practices > Other listing practices > Item location misrepresentation.
As far as I am aware, Lithium does not have it on their roadmap to introduce an Ignore button in the near future.
You should report IDs to us that are disruptive or that you suspect might be circumventing restrictions. You can report any post made by a user and you can use the freeform text box to let the moderators know why you're reporting. You can advise that you have concerns that this may be a restricted user posting again and they will carry out a full investigation.
Thanks!

Last week tyler@ebay responded to one of my queries:
Hi @terrycanarsky - the Fast N Free program is a logo that may be displayed when a listing offers free shipping and there's a high probability that the item will be delivered in 4 business days or less based on the buyer's location and your shipping history with similar items.
This program isn't something that's required by any means. If you do not wish for your items to display the Fast N Free logo where relevant you should contact Customer Service so they can work on getting you removed from that program.
Imagine my surprise when after searching unsuccessfully through eBay's own site for answers and finally calling Merchant Support, I was told there is no "program" called Fast N Free AND it's being phased out in favor of the Guaranteed Delivery idea (which is a whole different mess).
Just so everyone knows, Fast N Free is only a feel-good logo eBay puts on any listing which meets certain in-house parameters based upon their own internal metrics paired with the seller's general shipping and delivery history. If I had to guess, I'd say it has a higher-than-average success rate at guessing delivery dates because it is based upon what the seller already achieves, but it is NOT a program which can be opted out of since it doesn't exist as a program.

Howdy @terrycanarsky - sorry for any confusion from my response last week. Fast N Free is a program that applies a logo to your listings if it meets certain criteria.
I can't speak to any changes to the program in the future, but I do know that if you'd like to have your listings opted out so the additional logo in search results does not appear then Customer Service can request that.
Happy to review the calls you made with Merchant Support to provide appropriate coaching to the teammates you worked with, as there is an opt-out process they can follow on your behalf. I'll reach out for more details about when you called shortly. Thanks!

Is there a place where Ebay lists the USPS rates for First Class Parcel International as well as Priority mail? Getting the FCP domestic is easy as Ebay like all other internet providers of postage get the Commercial rate, but FCP International is different. That has been negotiated and Ebay usually does a good job with that negotiation. But unless we get a sale to a given country, we can't look up or I haven't found a place to go to, to get the Ebay rate. Please advise.

Thanks you for providing this forum to address issues
There are FREE National Museum of African American History and Culture up for sale on ebay.
Because of demand, the museum has an online form for individuals and families to get the free tickets.
The Museum says in its policies that they are not to be sold.
Ebay was informed in the forums of this practice. Ebay said that individuals may report each individual seller via report item link. That makes it seem if ebay is just trying to get its share of the revenue. Instead of the ebay users reporting can the ebay staff forward this to the correct department and get back to us with what the decision is on the sale of these free tickets that the museum does not want sold?
Hi @mallontown,
Sure, we can do this. Let me look into it and get back to you.
Thanks.
So any word on this from last week? (I used blue this week to show my post seperate from yours Alan, sorry if the red offended you)

Hello!
In the past week, we have gotten almost 60 emails regarding removing a duplicate listing. Every email is about the same two duplicate listings and every email says that the duplicate listing was removed and no further action is necessary, yet we are STILL getting the emails. Is there any reason why we would still be getting these? We have checked both listings and one is active, one is not.
Hi @hoerrracing, so sorry that you were flooding with emails. We normally try to remove all of the duplicate listings at once so that only one email is sent. If the duplicates were removed in several separate instances then an email will be sent for each removal. It sounds like this is what happened based on what you've described. If so, there should be at least one unique item number in each email that isn't present in any of the other emails you received from us. Double check the emails and the details/item numbers provided in them for more details.

I see reports that the Promo Notice has been moved to above the listing.........is this a permanent change or another test?

Thanks for allowing sellers to ask questions on this forum
I previously asked this question but it was not answered last week so I am reposting it .
Devin Wenig said "In the US a package is delivered average in 2 days, for ebay"
I asked where is this information coming from.
For this to be true packages would have to arrive between 1.5 days and 2.49 days
So can anyone share and answer the question about where Mr. Wenig is getting his 2-day Average information from?

Hi @dhbookds , can you expand so all in the community are aware of the issue.
Thanks for you persistence to unanswered post
I think this screenshot (below) summarizes the issue rather neatly:
This problem is still in effect as of a couple of minutes ago. It seems like it's trying to show a total of listings identified as "New" alongside a total of those that don't carry a similar identifier, and assuming that those carrying no "New" identifier are thus "Refurbished" instead, but that's just a guess.
This has been carrying on for months now. It was apparently rolled out with no means of earmarking which categories should be blocked from the "Refurbished" designation. Other affected categories include diapers and other single-use products.

my question is about Grouped Listings. i do lots of searches for dvds sorted by price. more than once i have found listings from sellers in the grouped area that are not included in the price sort. are some sellers displayed by group sort only?

Does ebay have an overall sales volume calendar that shows all 365 days with each day ranked by total amount of sales?
It would be helpful for sellers to know as compared to their daily sales. Since ebays, System Status board is always green and is no help to users a Sales Volume Calander may also allay some concerns if you are having a bad sale day because to know that day was in the bottom 10% or 20% of all sellers days.Hi @mallontown,
We don't have an overall sales volume calendar that shows all 365 days with each day ranked by total amount of sales.
To monitor your overall sales performance, including year-over-year sales, you should utilise the tools available in Seller Hub.
Thanks.
Thanks for your reply.
Can you forward this to the appropriate team to see if ebay can provide this to the community?
This doesn't sound like information that we would share publicly.
If you're interested in that level of detail, you could listen in to our quarterly earnings calls to find out how the business is doing.
Thanks.

Hello everyone!
I ran into a problem listing a set of ten adult coloring books. The title of one of them is Amazon Animals. How can I list the title/name of my item if there is a restricted word in it? Call it "the South American Jungle that starts with A" Animals coloring book? Who's going to find that.
Hi @fuzzymae, this would not be considered a violation of any policies as there are numerous products that contain both Amazon and Animals in their title or description. What category were you attempting to list this in? Did you receive an email or notification related to a block?

Are previous problems, glitches and such being put on the side, pending a new format for the site?
Hi @gracieallen01,
Not sure what you mean here. Can you elaborate?
Thanks!

I can. Look at USPS website. For the use of USPS as your carrier, they offer what their estimated delivery times are. They are NOT "averages". They are BEST CASE. Now that alone just doesn't make sense. But that is in USPS's lap. I posted on this last week. And this was my example.
I have on my listings 1 day handling time. There are times when I am able to ship same day. That is my best case basis. But I can assure you I am not about to change all my listings to same day shipping just because I can occasionally meet that.
Best Case and Average delivery times are NOT the same thing. But apparently USPS doesn't want to share that. I'm sure they understand it. But their Best Case dates look better.

Thank you, but I didn't need the explanation. As stated, "Fast N Free is only a feel-good logo eBay puts on any listing which meets certain in-house parameters based upon their own internal metrics paired with the seller's general shipping and delivery history. "
My apologies if I sound ungrateful, but have I asked you to review that call and provide "coaching" to Merchant Support?
You answered a concern of mine, I tried on my own to find information on this "program" - unsuccessfully under those terms, I might add - and reached out to Merchant Support for information. I consider their help to have been just that, helpful.
I find it troubling that you (the generic 'you') are more than happy to "coach" Merchant Support - those individuals who actually know what they're doing and provide aid to their customers - yet the absolute mess that is the general Customer Service is apparently considered fine regardless of the lack of help/passing on of erroneous information. Remind me sometime to tell you of my more recent calls with them when the automated system mistakenly switched me to them instead of MS.
I don't personally care if the logo is on the listing or not, nor does Terry. However, it is misleading for buyers because it suggests *we* are promising delivery by a certain date. THAT is the problem with the logo, not Merchant Support needing coaching to not answer a seller's question.

So now, with the months long continuing problem of receiving timely emails from ebay when an item is listed, ending, relisted, or sold, some taking 18 hours from action to receipt, now some genius at ebay has decided to have the sold ebay title to say,"(some unknow emoji) then Sale Confirmed: Title... This looks exactly like the item listed email of, "Your ebay listing is confirmed". What was wrong with a simple, business like email that just said Your item sold. No stupid emojis, no smiley faces, no hearts, just the facts?
And when can we expect our business partner, ebay, who we pay money to for services, to actually provide those services in a timely manner. Getting an email 12-18 hours after something has happen, listing, selling, etc, is not what we are paying for.
