FWIW, I like the 3 month window better!!!!
Hi @dtexley3, those sellers who have 400 or more transactions within the last three months are moved to a 3-month lookback period. 399 or fewer transactions would be on a 12-month lookback period. This would be calculated based on unique transactions, so multiple purchases from the same buyer in a short amount of time would be considered a single transaction. A 3-month lookback provides a more accurate depiction of your current performance and allows for more flexibility for the Top Rated Grace Period. Only looking back 3 months gives you time to address any unexpected drops in sales counts or performance metrics, as they are part of your evaluation for a shorter amount of time.

Does ebay have an overall sales volume calendar that shows all 365 days with each day ranked by total amount of sales?
It would be helpful for sellers to know as compared to their daily sales. Since ebays, System Status board is always green and is no help to users a Sales Volume Calander may also allay some concerns if you are having a bad sale day because to know that day was in the bottom 10% or 20% of all sellers days.
Hi @mallontown,
We don't have an overall sales volume calendar that shows all 365 days with each day ranked by total amount of sales.
To monitor your overall sales performance, including year-over-year sales, you should utilise the tools available in Seller Hub.
Thanks.

@dtexley3wrote:Does eBay track how often posters report that they are receiving incorrect or confusing instructions from CS? There seems to be a significant uptick in the number of posts where other sellers are coming to the forums because CS is not providing guidance that is easily understood and more importantly accurate.
The language barrier has been mentioned frequently lately so I'm wondering if the off-shore CS staff has been increased instead of the US based staff.
While I completely agree we all to often get bad info from the call center, it is important to remember that the threads are not really the best way to guage that there is an uptick in this issue. It is normal human behavior to post about things that are going wrong, glitches, venting and any number of negative subject. It is far less common to post feel good stories. They just don't get the attention as then other types of threads.

Last week tyler@ebay responded to one of my queries:
Hi @terrycanarsky - the Fast N Free program is a logo that may be displayed when a listing offers free shipping and there's a high probability that the item will be delivered in 4 business days or less based on the buyer's location and your shipping history with similar items.
This program isn't something that's required by any means. If you do not wish for your items to display the Fast N Free logo where relevant you should contact Customer Service so they can work on getting you removed from that program.
Imagine my surprise when after searching unsuccessfully through eBay's own site for answers and finally calling Merchant Support, I was told there is no "program" called Fast N Free AND it's being phased out in favor of the Guaranteed Delivery idea (which is a whole different mess).
Just so everyone knows, Fast N Free is only a feel-good logo eBay puts on any listing which meets certain in-house parameters based upon their own internal metrics paired with the seller's general shipping and delivery history. If I had to guess, I'd say it has a higher-than-average success rate at guessing delivery dates because it is based upon what the seller already achieves, but it is NOT a program which can be opted out of since it doesn't exist as a program.

Hi Trinton and Alan
A couple of things. Buyers are very upset and this thread is an example of US sellers either drop shipping from China or the overseas seller saying the item location is in the US so they can go around the filters. This really needs to be addressed.
Also - if Lithium does updates - can we please get an ignore button! There are at least 7 new posting ids within the past 2 weeks that like to do nothing but bait people. I've been called to multiple threads by these new IDs and consider it harrassment and have notified the mods to the situation. I don't know if these are people on suspensions - circumventing the block or what but it's time those causing problems are dealt with instead of telling those of us trying to help out on the boards to just ignore them.

Can you forward this to the appropriate team to see if ebay can provide this to the community?

Just a quick question here, Alan.
Are previous problems, glitches and such being put on the side, pending a new format for the site?

I don't!
Because of a 3-month window, in which I had 4 "late uploading of tracking" defects caused by selling multiple items to the same buyer, I lost my TRS status. If that (monumentally stupid *) count had been spread out over the last 12 months, the % of times I forgot to move the tracking number to the 2nd and 3rd items sold to the same buyer, would have vanished in the overall number of single sales.
* "late uploading of tracking" is a defect even if the item was shipped, scanned, and delivered on time. Grrrr!
You need to have those looked at, if the item is delivered ON TIME the late upload of the tracking # is NOT supposed to count. You should play CS roulette and get that fixed.
Recently Trinton confirmed there were issues with the system correctly handling the Uploaded on Time and delivered on time stats and I've not seen anything confirming if that issue has been resolved.

I sent you a private email after last weeks chat in an effort to help you with this issue. You can print labels in Ebay for combine shipping of multiple line items. Did you see the email? Upper right of the screen where you see the little envelope.
I also now have screen shots for you if you want them.

Hello everyone!
I ran into a problem listing a set of ten adult coloring books. The title of one of them is Amazon Animals. How can I list the title/name of my item if there is a restricted word in it? Call it "the South American Jungle that starts with A" Animals coloring book? Who's going to find that.

When you search sellers other items, not all categories/subcategories show on the left side, even after clicking on 'show more'. This gives the impression that the seller doesn't have anything listed in those categories, however, they do have items listed under those subcategories.
When will this be addressed? I see a lot of antique/vintage sellers losing visibility on their items due to this.
Also, when is the main listing reflected on the 'product page' going to show the actual listing information? If the new 4 item product page will work the same way, the buyers may as well play the slot machine and see what they get vs. what was hown by ebay. The actual listing is correct, but only if you go into it. What is shown on the product page is not correct. And you can BID/BIN right from there, never knowing the real contents of the listing or even the correct title.
Hi @d-k_treasures, this is a great callout and something I want to get reviewed right away. I will reach out via email after the chat to get some examples from you so we can have this addressed!

Thanks Trinton, that would explain why some sellers are seeing 1 yr and others 3 months....

@dtexley3wrote:No, I just checked and ALL of the stats show a 3 month window except for Transaction and Sales.
Interesting. I'm not having that issue.
Now you made me look a little closer at my dashboard. I am now showing a defect under my Transaction Defect Rate that was not there a few days ago. Now the odd thing about this is that it is from April of 2017. That was NOT there a few days ago. I realize it is almost a year old, but why did it suddenly appear. It will drop off soon and it isn't hurting my selling status, but that really isn't the point.

Devin Wenig, ebay CEO wants to evolve ebay into a company where only 4 choices of a product with 10,000 listings are a shown (1 new, 1 used, 1 refurb, 1 of the items competition product)
Where does that leave the everyday seller and the other 9,996 listing?
Will this 4 item approach be implemented fairly with all sellers being treated equally and ebay not favoring those that pay more (promoted) or those with special pricing/placement (big retailers on ebay)?
What date in 2018 does Devin Wenig want this approach to selling on ebay implemented?
When the change is implemented will sellers with year-long stores be able to cancel with no penalty?
Can the community team please get to the right team to get an answer to these questions?
Hi @mallontown - Product Based Search, or Grouped Listings, is actually something that has been on the site since October of last year. It's rolled out to nearly all categories (exceptions are Clothing, Shoes & Accessories and Motors) and allows buyers to group items into product pages as an option when viewing their search results. Rather than search through pages of search results it allows buyers to see product review information and several high level sub categories of item, like Price, condition, buying format, etc.
This serves to benefit all sellers, as we believe a buyer is more likely to make a purchase if they can find details and more quickly locate the product they are looking for. It's also important to note that it is not a 'locked' result - meaning that while there are certain subcategories visible like 'New', a buyer can then click on an option to view all New results which would take them to an already filtered search result for the product they're looking for.
There is no current plan to offer members on a yearly store subscription an option to end their commitement early
The largest takeaway as more buyers utilize this filter option is to ensure that you fully utilize available item specifics for each listing, to make sure that items are shown and given the best exposure in search. Thanks!
