I have been seeing an increase in sketchy listings in the Coins and Paper Money Category recently, does anybody from eBay actually monitor categories?

Subject: Ability to Edit "Notes" in the Bulk Editor
I was wondering if there is a way to Bulk Edit "Notes" on Active listings or Drafts? Right now the only way I can find to add or change a Note is on the individual listing once it is live. It is helpful to see notes in the Sold file (pic below). For our purpose, what this does is helps to indicate what inventory lot an item was sold from for accounting purposes. If "Notes" could be added or changed in the Bulk Edit it would be a good feature. If its already possible, yours truly has not figured out how to do it ...
Hi @mr_lincoln, it is possible to add and/or edit notes in bulk in the Seller Hub Listings section for Active items. Once you've check marked the listings you'd like to edit, click the Action button and select "Add/edit note". This will allow you to add or edit notes in bulk

Brian, you are truly THE MAN, thank you! ... now, next, when creating a listing from scratch can a Note be added?

Just keeping this on the front burner....follow up to the follow up of the 6/26 weekly chat, from the 6/12 weekly chat. Is any progress being made on the "sponsored/promoted listings" showing up in searches.? Thanks!
@roadking5555 wrote:tyler@ebay wrote:Welcome everyone - the chat is now open for your questions!
I am following up from the previous two weekly chats on the sponsored (promoted) listings that show up in my search results that have nothing to do with my search parameters. The problem remains.
Is there any update or progress being made on this? I know it was forwarded to the appropriate team via Brain T. on 6-12-2019.
Thanks!
Hi @roadking5555, I don't have an update on this. The Promoted Listings team is aware of the issue though, so it's definitely on their radar to correct.

@mr_lincoln I'm not seeing an option to add a note during the listing flow, but one can be added to the listing within the Seller Hub Listings section after it's been listed by using the arrow drop-down menu to the left of the item.

@Anonymous
Good day. I received a personal email from one of my boardie friends alerting me emails were sent out to sellers related to changes to Item Specifics that will be effective October 1. I never received this email (not in personal or ebay messaging). However, she did send me the 3 page IS attachment (specifically related to Clothing, Accessories, etc.). Is there anywhere here in the Community this notice was posted?

Hi @kus1617, anytime you see concerning listing on eBay you are welcome to report these for review. We have teams reviewing these reports for appropriate action around the clock, everyday of the year. In addition to these reports, we also proactively review the site for potential violations and identify issues through automatic scans. Those who seek to commit fraud or take advantage of our site will continue to create new methods of circumvention, and as we discover these methods we will improve our filters to better capture these kinds of issues.
Check out our Help Page on reporting an item for more info on what steps you can take to help protect the site.

No update yet, @roadking5555. I'll bring this one up again to the promoted listings team though.

I'm going to bring this up, in hopes you'll pass it along.
eBay & other Corps got a huge Tax Cut.
Most of us, and our Buyers, didn't... Many got no/smaller refunds.
Every year, postage rates go up... that equals bigger profit for eBay on a sale.
It may also equal a lower profit for the Seller.
If we buy postage on eBay, can't eBay credit the FVF on that postage ?
Thank you, Echo

Thanks, I have been actively reporting issues, it just seems that nothing is being done with the listings, most problematic one are new members w/0 feedback.
Most of the questionable listings have BIN at $500-$2500+ and minimal descriptions or are not even in some cases relevant to the pictures showing.

Effective October 8, 2019, we’ll introduce new item specific requirements in Fashion, Toys & Games, and Home & Garden categories. These requirements will apply to new and revised listings.
Complete and accurate item specifics help buyers find your listings quickly and easily. We recommend you make changes to any existing listings now to help you stay ahead of the competition, improve your visibility, and drive conversion for your business.
Why is eBay making this change?
•
Complete and accurate item specifics ensure your items appear in search results when buyers use the left-hand filters.
•
They help your items achieve maximum visibility on eBay by surfacing your items in search results and improving your chances to make more sales.
•
They improve your listings visibility in other search engine results outside of eBay.
Need help identifying your missing item specifics?

•
New item specifics for Fashion: Download details
•
New item specifics for Home & Garden: Download details
Visit Seller Hub to add item specifics to your listings now.
In Seller Hub, you can also find out what item specifics are required and recommended when you list or revise your items. In addition to the required item specifics, we encourage you to fill out as many recommended item specifics as you can. We’re working with third-party tool providers to audit how much visibility they are giving to item specifics, including required item specifics, in their tools.
As always, thank you for selling on eBay.

Hi, I have a Premium store on this account ID and when I relisted items prior to August 6th of this month in bulk the items would AUTOMATICALLY be withdrawn and disappear from my UNSOLDS list. On August 6th a customer service went into my account and changed some of my preferences or did something to my account page where now every time I relist in bulk the ITEMS STAY in my UNSOLDS folder whith a note that reads "you relisted this item". Why and How did they do this? I do not like to have to go back and check off EVERY single box to delete the listings. I like the way it was set up before. How can I get my account back to removing BULK RELISTS AUTOMATICALLY? I also have noticed a precipitous drop in sales since the customer service rep changed this feature on my account. Is there a correlation?

Hi @echo_and_zip, we work to negotiate carrier specific discounts for our sellers. While you can pass along these savings to your buyers if you would like, these discounts also could be retained to help you offset the increases that are introduced over time. We have no plans to eliminate or credit the Final Value Fee related to shipping costs, as these fees discourage moving the price of the item to the shipping cost in an effort to avoid fees, as well as serve as an incentive for those sellers who offer free shipping. That being said, I encourage you to review the shipping discount Help Page for more info on the carrier specific discounts I referenced earlier in my reply.
