For several days I have not gotten any email replies to my saved searches. Usually I get 10 or more.

Same problem here. First, one search stopped emailing. Today, it looks as if another one is failing. I have changed nothing on my end. All the searches show that I am still subscribed, but nothing!
Some sellers aren't getting to show me what they have to tempt me with. They should also complain.
I am not impressed.

I too have been having problems with SOME, but not all of my saved searches. I get the e-mails ok, but the number of new items is bogus, and the links don't work. I can go to the saved search page, and access the searches, but it's the **bleep** short list that you cannot modify in any form.
I'm about ready to pull the plug on the malfunctioning searches and say the heck with it. ebay seems to be the 16 ton gorilla that says it's my way or the highway.
And I cannot believe that they cannot provide a means of contacting them except via phone or social media, neither of which is an option for me. I guess MY option is just to delete the searches as I said and just forget it, I'm beginning to wonder if ebay is worth the hassle.

I haven't received any of my 30+ followed searches for over a week now. I spoke with customer service twice and they acknowledge that there is a "glitch" in their system and that many people are experiencing it. Today I got one of their on-line surveys that you get after you speak to an eBay representative. I told them that the problem isn't solved and that now I don't want to put anything up for sale. How will people know that a new item that they follow is up for sale if they're not getting their followed searches? Also, I haven't been buying anything becaue I haven't been receiving notifications of new items that I follow.
I can see having system problems from time to time, but this has been going on for too long now. Another thing is that you would think that they would send out a mass announcement to all eBay users telling us about the problem and keeping us apprised of any progress (or lack of progress). They do that when they change policies or other things. How hard can this be? Not a good situation.
It's very frustrating. I'm not putting anything up for sale until this "glitch" is fixed. Ridiculous.

My saved search feature has not been working for over two months!! I don't blame sellers for not wanting to list until it is fixed.

Mine is working now (finally). The only thing I can suggest is to keep pestering eBay about it. It's so weird that some users' systems work and some don't. I'm going to start selling again soon, but definitely can tell you that I wouldn't if my saved searches hadn't started up again. I'm thinking that you need to talk to ebay and have them "reset" your account. That's the term they used, but it took two or three times for it to start working again. Thanks for your reply. It shows me that this problem isn't "ebay-user wide." Instead, it seems to effect individual users.

Same thing happend to me earlier this year. I called concierge service and they said they knew nothing about this problem. Saved searches emails began working again spontaneously after several weeks. Then it happened again in September. Same drill: I called concierge number and got same answer as before, and saved searches began working again after several weeks. They just stopped working again (11/25/2018). I suppose I will call them again, but this is getting irksome. I expect they will start working again in a few weeks, but in the meantime ebay sellers lose sales, ebay loses commissions, and ebay shareholders... well, they probably don't monitor these postings.

Mine weren't working from about late September until about 3 weeks ago (early November). I called eBay several times. I finally learned that the problem was happening all across the country. They had to take each category and find out what was wrong with it and how to fix it. It took them over a month and I don't know if they are completely finished. I currently am receiving my alerts, but after reading the post above mine, I fully expect it to happen again.
When it does happen again, be sure to contact eBay and report it. They definitely are aware of how seriously this affects buying and selling. I can tell by how many people look at what I have for sale that many people are not getting alerts. It makes me not want to sell anything in the "auction" mode. Not worth it if people don't see your items. 😞

Saved Sellers and Saved Searches are both a buggy mess that should not be relied on. The discussion boards are full of complaints about users not receiving Saved Search emails, or else receiving emails from zombie searches that cannot be found or deleted. Likewise, users complain of being unable to add or delete Saved Sellers, despite being well under the limit of one hundred.
Your best bet may be to find another way to keep track of searches and sellers that you have more direct control over -- by using bookmarks of searches or sellers' "items for sale", links pasted into an email, or third party automated search tools. Google "automated searches ebay" for some possible suggestions.
