nxdomain (pmtapp.ebay) updating credit card info

Just reporting a technical issue, which after wasting way too much time attempting to deal with the contact system, there is still apparently no way to do through it, because ebay apparently doesn't want to know when things are broken.

When updating my credit card for seller fees, I got a popup with url https://pmtapp.ebay/apm/sca?flowid=[]&opid=[]&reloadurl=https%3A%2F%2Ffundinginstrument.ebay.com%2Fp...

[big numbers removed in case they contain session info]

The server pmtapp.ebay is nxdomain.  Editing the url to use pmtapp.ebay.com worked and allowed me to update my credit card.  Maybe someone there thought you guys had your own tld?  🙂

This issue has been posted here months ago, like in:

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Payments/Cannot-add-new-payment-option-for-payouts/td-p/32892594

Please bring back a way to report technical issues easily through the typical contact us flow.  I think it's been at least a decade since last time it was there.  Some of the issues I've encountered, like this one, are simple issues that should have been fixed quickly (updating a credit card is core functionality), or found during testing, but remain because it's intentionally difficult to report them.  Most users would not think to go to community and find this section - I sure didn't, and originally posted this under selling, since it wasn't mentioned in the drop-down of options.

Found your post. Totally helped me.  I can't believe leadership at eBay cares so little for their platform that they'd leave this problem for over two months.

Guess they're no longer about the 'experience' or being 'about the sellers' . . . .

Going on 5 months now.

Coping the URL out of the pop-up window and putting it into the main window and adding "dot com" after eBay worked for me as well.

The guy on chat had no idea. Pleasent enough but we ended up giving up till tomorrow.

My guess is the eBay page is malformed.

Hey @dhbookds! I will keep a lookout to see if there are anymore reports on this and have this sent over to the correct team.

Problem still exists as of 1-19-2023.  The original poster's solution worked for me.
