no search box in ebay store

What happened to the search box in our ebay stores so that customers can search for specific items that want to purchase instead of having to scroll through thousands of items?  This seems to be a very good reason for a drastic decrease in multiple sales in one purchase!

A few days ago, I noticed that, too. However, I saw that the normal search box up at the top of the screen said that it would search the store only.... or is that the box that is gone?

The problem with the new search text, is that it disappears for the second search. It is replaced with Search for Anything. It is definitely not clear if that search stays within the store or is eBay wide.

Using the back arrow in you browser will retain the Search within store text.

The store search is where the main search bar is.

You can choose to search the store or all categories.
