bought a few things on amazon yesterday because I was so frustrated with every link opening a new tab after doing a search, total **bleep**
this is not on my end its an EBAY problem

It isn't a problem.
I like it. Helps me not lose my place.

how do you loose your place using the back button? the search page doesn't move.

If you are interested, there are ways to get around this particular behavior, aside from just closing browser tabs as you finish with them.

I have not tried this particular workaround, so I cannot say if there are any hidden drawbacks to that fix, though.

this fix is for Firefox, downloaded Firefox and tried it just for the heck of it, but same thing as in chrome. the back button has worked for 20 years but now Ebay says no you have to close a tab now. found that shopping on some of the smaller sites today that if your out of state you can still beat the tax, so I'm saving money not shopping here!
