I have a "Message from Buyer" on my eBay Selling Overview Page. When I click Reply, it says the message does not exist or is over 90 days old. My listing went up 4 days ago, so that means it doesn't exist? If a potential buyer wants to know if my item is still available, I am presuming that their mind hasn't changed. If it had or they asked the question to the wrong person, shouldn't they have been able to remove their question? I'd like to know if there is a glitch with my account. The potential buyer leaving the message was zc-828. The message was left Oct 28, 2021 at 5:23 am. Please check this out for me. My eBay item number is: 234256252124

Others have run into this same issue lately.
If you have more than one option to send a message or reply to a message, try an alternate link, or a link on an alternate page. Some links may work better than others. Try a different selling page.
If all else fails, try going to the user's feedback or profile page and composing a new message there using the Contact link.
If you are prompted for an item number, and using a current number gives you an error message, choose "not about an item" instead.

This message board isn't monitored by eBay staff who can check on account-specific problems. You can send a private message via the Ebay for Business FB page and that is very effective in my experience.
However, there has been a glitch with the notification bell on seller hub for months. It will tell you you have a message but when you click on it it says it's over 90 days old. I don't know when they are going to fix it. It will also tell you have unanswered questions even if you've already answered a message. So...I'd suggest simply going to your messages area in your account. If you have any new message that still needs to be answered for real, it will be there. Don't be concerned about that notification bell on Seller Hub. It is not accurate. Use the messages section.
