issues with app

Not sure if this is considered a technical issue or just a problem with how it was set up.  I like to take photos with my Android phone camera, save, and then do the actually listing on my desktop.  There are some issues with this.

1.  Just a small thing, but at the bottom on the desktop, the order of the bubbles at the bottom is 'list it', 'save for later', 'preview'.  On the app, it's 'list it', 'preview', 'save for later'.  The order is different and you have to be really careful not to hit the wrong thing.  Switching these should be an easy fix.

2.  I take the pictures on the app, save for later, then go to desktop.  I edit the pictures, create the listing.  That works well, but if I have to go back and add pictures, there is a problem.  Once I add new photos and go back to my computer, the changes I made to the other pictures are now gone and I have to edit all of them again, even though I clicked done to save have to do it all over again.  I have had this same issue for months.  I posted about it in July, but no one had an answer.  Others did say they had the same issues that I am having.

Re: issues with app

Something that people are not generally aware of is that website apps that have a lot of functionality such as the Facebook app and eBay app are tremendously expensive to create & it is just not in eBay's best interest to upkeep their app functionality. Many of the functions are very baseline and shallow, and there are numerous oversights caused by what appears to be a lack of dedicated budget.

I take one look at the eBay app and I think, "there's no way people actually use this to do anything besides fix prices."

Re: issues with app

This is not going to help the issue you are having but have you considered the following?

Take pictures on your phone and edit them there. (crop to square picture) After you create the listing on your PC, save to draft and upload pictures from phone (via app) to saved draft and publish once completed.

I use an android phone and it takes great pictures and my edits are just cropping to a square photo. I find it takes less time for me to not have to transfer photo to PC. Unfortunatley the app is not the best for me to create the listing which is why i create completed drafts (not including photos) on my PC first. YMMV

Just a thought and what has helped me trim some time off my listing times. YMMV
