European specific search has not been working for 2 years

Over 2 years ago the ability to search specifically in the European Union or European continent has been working on and off (mostly off).

I had many saved searches, I've had to disable all as the search results had items from all over the place. I've drastically reduced my Ebay shopping due to the inability of being able to perform regional searches.

I've complained to Ebay several times, but to no avail.

I'm sure they're losing a lot of money because of this... why isn't this fixed? And why isn't this listed in the post with known technical issues?

The last time this worked properly was during 2-3 months in 2023, but the checkboxes vanished again last month from ebay.co.uk and ebay.de websites.

Probably because the issue is directly related to the actual location of the user doing the search. Those searches still work for users in the US searching on non-US eBay sites, so US-based eBay folks can't really diagnose the problem.

You may have better luck posting about this on non-US eBay discussion boards so that folks that can actually see what you are talking about get involved. No one in the US could replicate problem last time I checked.

After appearing on and off, it seems that EU specific searches are back!

Unfortunately, regional search alerts aren't working... 😞 What happens is that a regional search will get converted to a global search when you save and enable notifications...

Really frustrating
