eBay requires that all visitors be running JavaScript. This page is validating your browser's JavaScript engine and functionality.
Your web browser will automatically reload shortly and you will receive a pop-up asking you to confirm your form submission again. Confirming the form submission again will allow you to continue to visit eBay without further incident.
If the page doesn't automatically attempt to reload, please do so manually.

Thank you for suggestion(s).
1) THAT particular link indeed does work without a hitch, so it is a very good work around. Thanks!
2) I have a number of ebay categories bookmarked so I can ease the search for recent listings in those categories. When I enter ebay through those links and click the account login hyperlink (top left of ebay page) I get to this page with the Javascript Engine Validation loop.
3) So using your link, https://signin.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll I can "enter" ebay, stay logged in, and then use my bookmarks to navigate to my preferred categories.
4) Disabling NoScript entirely does not seem to work ... but will test more.
5) Also found this this website:
http://www.people.vcu.edu/~elhaij/bnfo300/18/Units/Protein/install-firefox-esr.html
Ignoring the upper section about installing Firefox, refer to the lower section about resolving Java issues by using the Java "control panel" by adding "https://signin.ebay.com.au" to in effect whitelist the ebay sign-in page may also work?
Thanks again.

Glad to hear that alternate link is working for you!
Regarding java -- I think that java and javascript are two distinct things. Most modern browsers no longer support java, but still support javascript.
I have a little experience with trying to keep old java applets working on newer computers; mostly that entails opening the page using Internet Explorer, either through Edge or a plug-in for Firefox or Chrome, adding an exception site to a security whitelist, and then resetting java security prompts.

I'm still having the problem too but I'm in the U.S. Some days there is no issue and then other days it wants to verify the javascript. This has been going ever since I first posted about it here.

I have since noticed a new/another problem ... I was attempting to leave feedback for a recent purchase (via Firefox) by clicking the "Leave feedback" hyperlink next to the item on my ebay Summary page (logged into successfully via the link you provided). The Summary page link then took me to the same Javascript Engine Validation page/loop.
Are you aware if ebay has recently changed its protocols ... as noted initially this login / Javascript loop is a recent issue for me having used ebay since 2003?

Did someone solve this issue already?
I'm having the same problem, even after factory reset my computer and installed opera browser, google chrome and edge, it doesn't matter what browser all of them have the same validation error with javascript.

eburtonlab has provided a "work around" for me in Australia and also for US residents (see 11 Sep 2019 post, above). I guess the logic is you add your country code: .au for me or .it for Italy if not in US to the login link.
A quick test I have found is to go to this website to see if javascript is enabled on in your browser.
https://www.whatismybrowser.com/detect/is-javascript-enabled
It should say YES, if I turn on NoScript, a Firefox add-on, and do not disable it for that website it will say NO, if NoScript is disabled (ie whitelisted) for that site it says YES ... so in theory at least Javascript is working in my browser (Firefox or Chrome) but not for the specific ebay Javascript Validation test page.
This however does not address the ebay login issue you/we are all having but as mentioned the work around works, for me at least. For me it's only started in the last week or so.
A noted above I had the problem when using Firefox (before using the work around) but not Chrome ... which to me suggests the fault is at the ebay validation end and not with my system.

I'm in Netherlands and am having the same problems, only noticed it yesterday. Tried other browsers and disable addons etc but no luck, I could only log in to eBay US and UK, but using the workaround link and change the domain in the link works great to login to eBay Germany, France, Ireland, Canada etc, I had tried those previously and they all hung on the JAVA loop for me.

I had this problem and I solved with this workaround:
1 - restart firefox in safe mode
2 - go to ebay.it (in my case the problem was with the italian version of the site)
3 - login in and click on reload when the alert come up
4 - now you should are logged in correctly
5 - restart firefox and surf on ebay again without problem.
I hope this helps

If you find yourself in an endless loop -- the next time you are sent to a sign-in page, try deleting everything in the URL after the ".dll" hit 'enter' to load the page and then sign in.

Are you able to sign in using this US sign-in page?
https://signin.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Or try another browser.
