customer calls eBay because they’ve already looked online and can’t find what they need to solve their problem. They have to google the eBay support number because eBay does not list it under their contact/ help page. The customer calls the support number from their google search and answers the automated message system prompts. No matter what the customer says to the prompts, they are always redirected back to the online site and never get ahold of a live representative.
if not fixed, the customer has no resolution to their problem because the online site is not answering their question and they can’t get ahold of a representative to help.

It is my understanding that eBay offers better help on social media.
And also that some of the contact numbers offered on Google are fake.
For starters, why not return here and explain your problem. Maybe an experienced eBayer can help you or can direct you to a place to actually get assistance.

There was a special phone number that I got years ago from a Daily Refinement YouTube video. It was given at eBay open and it always connected you to American reps. I believe it was called the concierge service. I just tried to use it and and like this poster says suddenly you can't connect to a human. I'm looking through any eBay Community threads that have the word "phone" in them and I'm seeing many people reporting the same thing. Definitely frustrating.

As mentioned, perhaps you would like to return and give details of the problem here.

The reason I called this morning was because of an item I received that was not as described. First the seller issued me a label but I didn't get a chance to print it and then somehow after that they issued me a refund. I had no access to the label anymore and I feel bad keeping the item and the refund so I was trying to figure out from eBay if there was still a way to send it back and get that label back. The seller had told me they wanted me to still send it back even though they had issued a refund.
Because I couldn't get a hold of eBay I let the seller know that I couldn't find the label anymore and they were frustrated so they told me just to keep the item and the money. It wasn't something I felt like I needed help from this community. There are times that I do have questions and I post in the community for an answer even when I had access to eBay's customer phone support. There's other times the phone number is great when actions needs to be taken not just advice. Anyway I guess it was a fluke I even had that number and access to American support for as long as I did but it's still a bummer to lose it.
