When trying to print "Order details" from a purchase, the resulting output is only in landscape... portrait is not an option.

In fact, when I first launch browser, the layout option of portrait/landscape is visible for a split second, and then disappears.

Using Edge & Chrome yield the same result. Trying to use "Print using system dialog" does not usefully affect the output. That dialog *does* say portrait, and yet the output is still landscape. Trying to print first as a .pdf (I have full Acrobat) also does not help as this output is also fixed at landscape.

Reading through the forum, this appeared at least 4 days ago.

THANK YOU for the workaround. The "landscape only'" print problem is still there, over a month after it first cropped up. What is wrong with eBay? Don't they make the effort to routinely read community comments? Do they care about the ridiculous entry-level-technical problem -- portrait-landscape selection -- they have created for users?

Does anyone know how to send a link to this thread to eBay website technicians so someone can fix the bleepin' problem? Sorry for the diatribe, but this problem should have been resolved over a month ago.

My workaround until ebay can find a fix is to:

view order details>control P>remove margins and set scale to 90%>click print. Still prints landscape but now I can read everything and it is aligned properly on the page.

Here's how I get around it: Once in the printer friendly page I just select everything (except the top heading) and right click anywhere on the selection and chose PRINT. (I find it's easiest to get a nice, clean selection by positioning my mouse at the very end (lower right) of the text then click and drag to the beginning (upper left)). Now, I have the option of portrait or landscape. But, the text is very tiny, so I fix this by moving the left margin in from 0.4 to 0.6 inches and the text suddenly gets larger - the produces a very normal printout. I use Google Chrome which supports the right-click print option. I think Edge does, too, but not so sure about Firefox.

You can increase the font size by simply moving the left margin in from 0.4 to 0.6 or 0.65. Works well for me.

I see shobo85 also replied with this solution a while back, but I'm adding some helpful detail here and a font size fix. I think complaints would be more effective if you use the "Tell us what you think" link on the Order Details page (on the right just below the payment info) instead of in these forums.

I have the opposite problem I ONLY GET Portrait mode which is annoying as HECK! It takes away the option to change the mode. Pretty embarrassed for you Ebay how can you screw up such a brain dead SIMPLE FUNCTION as a PRINT. Even if you change your printer driver to ONLY do Landscape mine will still come out Portrait. In addition there is no option to go to order details from my order history, I have to click on the item and then it will say I purchased it and then I get an option to get the order details. Please IMMEDIATLY RESTORE the ability to view my order details WITHOUT having to go into the item view first, really REALLY DUMB Ebay!
