eBay Search Not Showing All Listings When Compared to Google

Update: It is now showing all of the active/sold listings. I'm not sure what the issue was prior to this. Possibly it wasn't defaulting to "All Categories" like it normally does. I didn't look to see what category it was searching under during the initial search. But it's ok now. Thanks to those who replied. I don't know how to delete the post. 🙂

This is an example of what I've discovered today while researching "Majolica Tobacco Jar" (I've sold these in the past so I know they are very much sought after). When I search on eBay it comes up with a measly 9 results for active listings. The sold listings come up with 3 results which I know can't be accurate. When I click on one of the few active listings, on the listing page other majolica jars are showing up as similar items, but they are not showing on the primary search page. 

I decided to do a Google search using the same terms and adding "for sale on eBay" and it generated numerous results that did not show up using the search on eBay. This is very concerning as a seller. Hopefully, eBay can look into this and fix the search function.  Please see the screenshots attached for comparison.

Different search engines and different servers. Some listings on Google may have been sold/ended and not always reflect accurately. You will never get them to be in sync (not the boy band) at the same time. Some listings may be promoted and show up more broadly on either site. 

I sometimes question the search function on Ebay as well but you can't expect Google to reflect exactly what any platforms searches yield. To many variables including paid ads and servers.

A search for majolica tobacco jar turns up 276 active results for me on eBay at the moment:

And 108 listings ended recently:

That seems more accurate than my results. Which makes me wonder even more if eBay is showing users different results? I'll try it again and see what happens.

Yes, I understand that.  I had to go outside of eBay to find the other listings as their search engine wasn't producing all of the listings.  I had 9 in my results. As you can see in the other comments there are hundreds of active listings.
