eBay Customer Service Not Replying to Messages

per a reply to another user on eBay's Facebook page, all messages to eBay Customer Service are currently being rerouted to other departments and ignored. When will this be resolved? And why is eBay Customer Service increasingly more difficult to contact with each passing day?

Going through eBay's Help & Contact page and using the chat assistant, wait times to chat with an agent or get a call back may vary depending on the particular issue or how busy an individual department is.

I just checked and the times do not seem to be excessive at the moment.

Chat assistant is either fully automated chatbots or staffed by individuals who cannot understand English. No help at all is better than "help" from that service. The only thing remotely resembling customer service available is eBay Facebook, and it's currently unavailable.
