checkout stuck "please note the new delivery date and complete checkout"

I am unable to make any purchases because when I hit the "confirm and pay" button I get this notice at the top of the payment screen "Please note the new delivery date and complete checkout." BUT there is nothing to DO about the delivery date, no button to click and say "yes I note the date" it just will not let me buy anything.  STUCK, please help!! 🙂

By now I'm getting pretty mad.
E-bay support is closed for the night, but of course.

I contacted the poor seller, hoping they'll hold the item for me until E-bay can find it in its heart to let me buy it. 

I tried applying and removing my coupon, then I got "smart" and used an incognito window, no dice. So I changed the payment method in case the error was linked to PayPal. Nope. Same difference. 

Trying Safari, see If I have any more luck with a different browser. That was fun! Same result. 
And E-bay you wonder why I do the bulk of my purchasing on Amazon?

Similar issue, it's just not taking my card, OR PayPal... so my roommate tried his card on my eBay purchase, and it wouldn't allow his either, nor his PayPal. It's like eBay doesn't want us to buy anything. I've cleared the cache, and cookies, and tried a different browser (I used Firefox normally, and I tried Edge) and still the exact same results. I have to believe it's an eBay issue.

Double-check your card details and billing address.
Call your card provider. There might be a hold on your account.
Select a different payment option.

Seller here, ok so this is extremely frustrating for me as well.  I am losing sales because buyers are having this issue.  The only thing i can do is hope that the seller messages me.  I end the listing and relist the item.  They can then purchase.  I have called ebay over the issue and they cannot help me.  I am not done with this issue by far.  I will get to the bottom of it.  I think it could have something to do with the sellers listing but i don't know.  There has been new code introduced into the algorithm in the past 6 months.  There is something causing this issue.  I may try to to reach out for assistance on Facebook Ebay for business page. Hope this helps someone.

@eburtonlab thanks but the thread you gave me is one of many that you will see, all with different things that buyers did, and did not work.  This matter is all over Reddit as well.  What puzzles me, i can end my listing  and relist and the buyer can then buy the item.  If it were something wrong with the buyers browser or a setting in their phone, me ending the listing and relisting.... it wouldn't help. It has something to do with the fast and free setting the algorithm auto populates from eBay i think.  It makes since due to the error code that is given at checkout.  Like for instance, i had a buyer last night message me over an item that i listed 2 hours before.  The idea that the item sat in the cart too long would not be correct due to that instance.

Edit your "deliver to" name, address, etc. Save it. Then try it again. It worked for me.

hey everyone I changed the free shipping to the other option and of course !!! took my payment when you change the free shipping!! hope it helps, don't like the fact 50$ free shipping turned into 50 plus shipping for the exact same delivery date

The same thing happened to me last night.

I tried many things to get it to work.

1.  Auto adjust clock on my phone.

2. Log out of ebay and back in.

3. Re-add item to cart.

4. Restart phone.

5. Change ship to details

What i think happened

Is, last night before i completed checkout, i hit the back button.  By doing that, somehow my cart showed it was emptied.  However, this morning i saw an email saying if i wanted to continue checking out.  I followed the link and everything was good

So i think there is a bug of sort with the checkout/cart situation
