Buyer messaged me saying : "I'm trying to check out, but it keeps telling me to 'Note the delivery date and complete checkout."end message
It doesn't make any sense because i haven't sold the item for the payment to need to be processed but i have to ask could there be such a problem ?

Searching the boards for that error message turns up this thread:
which has various suggestions of things for your buyer to try, but no definitive solution.
Check date/time setting of computer to make sure it is correct.
If item is not committed to purchase, try removing it from cart ("save for later").
Sign out of eBay.
Start another browser (one user specifically recommended Edge) and sign in to eBay.
Add the item back to the cart and try again.
Tyler seemed to think that part of the issue might be an item with a short handling time left in the buyer's cart past the allowable cutoff of that handling time, so perhaps there is something that can be changed on the seller's end to test that if the buyer is willing to cooperate.

The member may have a restriction on their account, that keeps them from completing checkout. There is no way you can determine this for sure. However, you might get a clue with a small bit of research.
Click on their userid, in the message. This brings up their MyeBay profile. If they have very few feedback ratings, they may need to verify their personal information. Click on their feedback number. Has it been more than a year since they last purchased an item? If so they may need to verify. If the profile shows a foreign country, they may need to verify (this seems likely, as the message is about the delivery date).
To verify, or to lift an account restriction (and there are many reasons eBay restricts accounts), the member would need to contact eBay. You are welcome to copy/paste any, or part of the following, in a message to the buyer (side benefit...if there is another reason for this issue, eBay will tell them when they contact)....
You can call eBay - https://www.ebay.com/help/-/-/Contacting_eBay_Customer_Service?id=4379
Or contact them on Facebook.com/eBay or Twitter.com/AskeBay
For the social sites...You can contact Customer Service on Facebook, via private message and though direct message on Twitter.
Please do not provide any personal or account specific information (username, item number, etc.) publicly, only through private or direct message. An eBay employee will verify your account information and be happy to work with you.

Glad to hear that the sale went through!

Honestly I cleared my cart, found the EXACT same items and $3.00 cheaper, placed those into my cart and it worked. Could be EBAY way of telling you the account or items are a fake but not sure I shall wait for my items in the mail, but try obtaining the items from another seller. The transaction did eventually work from another seller.
