can not down load a picture or edit pictures on a new listing or existing listing

I was creating a new listing with variations. Have done it 100 times.  I put a few pictures in.  I can not edit them. I can not add anymore pictures or remove them.  I saved it and reopened it. Still can not.  I listed it, Still nothing. I created another listing same problem

I haven't had that problem. What happens when you try to add a second photo using a different browser @johnjefprks ?

I have tried chrome and edge, also incognito. Are you trying to do it with a sell similar with a new variation that has no pictures to begin with. It does work when I delete existing pictures and add new ones.

I created new variations on existing listings and I created new listings entirely. No variation photos to begin with. No problems adding them.

I can now get to editor, but still seeing issues with the picture upload for the second, third, fourth, etc. variation. When I click on the subsequent variation, the pictures are being uploaded to the previous variation. I have to "save and close" out of the variation option every time before uploading and editing more pictures.

Hmm what browser are you using @shul? Are you using Chrome and Edge like the other poster?

Earlier today (using Safari on a Mac) there was a noticeable lag when I uploaded a second pic to the default photos (not variation photos) on a variation listing, but after maybe 6 seconds of sort of a scrolling gray in the box, the pic loaded fine. It was a one-off though. I wasn't able to duplicate the problem with additional uploads.

I'll see if I can find time tomorrow to do more testing.

That is exactly the same problem I am having. I have used the save and close and that works, but it takes way to long when you have over 200 variations.

Re: can not down load a picture or edit pictures on a new listing or existing listing

Are you also working on listings with over 200 variations @shul ?

I ran tests but my listings had I think around 115 variations on the high end. My listings with more variations have had significant slowness issues since eBay made changes to the variation page a few mos ago.

If both of you have twice that number of variations it could be tied to your photo upload issue.

I posted about some of those changes here:

Really no solid answer to this problem.

Re: can not down load a picture or edit pictures on a new listing or existing listing

Thank you. I have a similar number of variations, maybe even a bit less than the 115 you note. The editor is back, but I can only upload one set of variation pictures at a time. Each time I upload, I have to "save and close" then re-enter the variation window. It is not letting me toggle between upload of multiple photos for the variations. This feature was working until just a few weeks ago.

Ah OK - I'm more clear on what you're experiencing. It's happening when you're trying to upload photos for multiple variations at the same time.

I should have some time later to do testing on my end and see if I can replicate.

@wastingtime101  Just an FYI- i just tried to do a variation listing for the same color and style of gloves one in each size of S,M,L.

when i upload the photos for 'size' not 'default' they upload on one size, i go to the next size to upload and all the photos from the previous size disappears.

i tried sell similar and one from scratch, same issue. on a MAC desktop using incognito Firefox, as i've done for years w/o issue until today.

going to have to list them on 3 separate single listings for now.

Excellent @stuff4divas ! I'm still a few hours away from being able to dive into it.

I just got a message from ask ebay on twitter. They said the tech team had fixed it. So I tried it with 2 diff. browsers and incognito.  I also rebooted my computer. It still doesn't work. I use windows 11 with 500 mbps.
