I have one listing which shows ZERO views but yet 1 Watcher? How is this possible?
I have followers and EVERYTIME I post something new I get views, since yesterday I am getting zero or low number of views. This seems to have started when I can now view the 'DATA' in detail when clicking on number of views in my listing. Is this being worked on as this obviously is either just incorrect data being shown on my end and I am getting views without my listing accurately showing as such or something else. It is killing my sales, which I normally make almost daily! Even promotional listings are being effected. Anyone else! HELP!

Most likely your views are not being displayed properly.
Although it is possible to watch an item listing without actually viewing it, almost every listing gets a few views.
The fact that you have a watcher indicates that your listing is findable, even if the information about views is not being displayed properly.

Yes, I looked at my views one day and a ok, the next I had over 5,000 views on a hat!!!! I think wrong! I heard Ebay metrics have been messed up.

I figure some sort of 'Glitch' going on.
I noticed this yesterday, same day I see the option to now 'Click' on views on your listing
to see more accurate data on how many views and when within 30 day/monthly period.
Seems odd that on day we have this New option available that zero views are also an issue.
I know they are getting ready to implement the new 'Ebay Marketing Program' 1st of June and hope this isn't some kind of gimmick to trick people into thinking they must participate in this program to get views. I share my listing/market myself with several platforms such as Instagram and Twitter as well as Pinterest and that has helped me get my followers & sales, so for myself I will Not participate in Ebay Marketing Program as I do not need another FEE. Just seems like timing is all but too convenient for ebay to have this sort of problem right before they are set to try to get more Money from sellers for this marketing program.
I used to get sales daily, but without views, well, I'm crossing my fingers it is just a glitch, and yes, your right, if I have a watcher then certainly I am able to get views. As a seller I don't have to tell you how IMPORTANT accurate viewing information is for our listings.
Thank you for reaching out!

When you pull up and view all the listings in a category, if you look over to the bottom right there is a heart in a circle in each listing, you can click on that and save to your list of things you are interested in without opening the listing. This could be how there are no views on the item but is being watched. Ok, maybe just a guess but might be correct.

My Gut tells me it's a glitch, hopefully very temporary one!

I was just checking my items on my other account & when I go to look at it the pictures disappear

same happening here, seeing zero or a few views in 2 days..very disturbing. Im hoping its not another way to make us sellers pay more for a promoted listing..sales are way down since they started this new counting process..

I spoke via phone to two different ebay employees.
Both agreed that zero views is an issue and to give it 24 hours while they
investigate why this is happening. Still showing zero views, no sales, listed 11 items
only due to this issue so hoping tomorrow I will see my views which is a MUST TO SEE
for us sellers to help determine product popularity and pricing, etc.

Having the same issue here. The same thing happened a year ago. I was averaging 8-16 views minimum on my listings, then it went to 0-2 on anything listed when the issue started last year. It took a while for it to get corrected. The same thing started again this past week. About the same time the listing tool, and total view calculations changed. Hopefully it is fixed soon. This affects Ebay's bottom line as much as our own.

I'm glad I'm not the only one having this issue. It's a bit disconcerting when you have new listings and where there are usually several views in the first hour, there are still zero after 24 hours of the item(s) being listed. This isn't good.

This is so frustrating - same thing happening to me in the last day or two. But what is odd is that the listings that previously showed a regular amount of views suddenly show as zero views. It must just be a glitch and hopefully it won't affect sales. 😕

I am seeing the same thing but now going on 2 weeks! I have been selling on eBay for several years and have never had this happen before! Many of my items have 0 views or extremely low views! I would like answers!

It is a new way of counting page views. The new number represents the views within 30 days. You can click on the views now and get more info and look at a 2 year total. This is part of the current spring seller update.
