Unable to send invoices

I have a large order (for me) that I am unable to send an invoice to the buyer for. I have contacted eBay on three occasions and have been told the issue will be resolved by March (2022). Is anyone else having this issue? eBay staff claim that it is an ongoing issue.  Any thoughts would be helpful. Thank you

Did you get the message "Something went wrong. Try again later"?

I got that message when trying to send an invoice yesterday, but it actually seemed to go through.

how big is the order?  I believe there is a limit on the # of sales you can combine on an invoice......40?

I continue to get eBay's error message and I have not been able to send invoices to buyers who's offers I have accepted. UGH!!!

The order this time is 27 items. BUT in the past, I have sent invoices for up to 64 items with no issues. I have also tried breaking the orders down and that does not help. eBays staff say it may not be resolved until March. UGH!!!  Thanks for your reply.

64 items? Or 8 items with a customer buying 8 of these and 8 of that (for example)

 

You cannot invoice over 10 individual items (different item numbers)

 

The March thing was to get you off the phone. The rep you talked to had no answer so they just make something up.

It is a known issue since the 11th in the Community. I talked to eBay today and there are no known work arounds or browsers that work. You can only send an invoice for 1 item. I have been trying to send a combined 8 item invoice for 2 days now.  I have done it the same way for 19 years now and believe me it is broken.  velvet@ebay is taking reports and trying to help several people. Nobody else I have talked to seems to use the same eBay I use. lol

This is still going on with larger invoices (30-40 items).  They did a fix a few weeks ago which made it better but didn't cover everything.  The problem seems to be the way that they process each invoice and issue an access to their database.  The use an API (application program interface) to do that access and when used for a larger number of items, it fails or times out and just stops.  At that first error, the whole process ceases and you get the "Something Is Wrong" message.

 

A little better design is need for this but doesn't seem to get delivered in a timely manner.

I'm having the same issue today with a 26 item invoice. I was first told it would be sent to IT and be fixed in 3-4 hours. 8 hours later I was told it would be within 24 hours. Frustrating!!!

Unable to send invoices

This problem appeared to be resolved and got better but it's back again.  Invoice has 38 items and will not generate.  Times out over and over again (sometimes it fails when trying to just display the Generate Invoice page).  I've tried 5-6 times a day for the past 4 days.   This "ongoing" issue has been around for 6 months. 

 

If I have to listen to another E-Bay help desk person tell me that they are sorry that I'm having problems, I'm going to scream.  Why can't this be corrected?  Please just resolve the problem.
