I am no longer able to mark ebay messages as answered.
I often get messages from customers that do no require a response and the system keeps telling me I have unanswered questions. There use to be a way to mark these as answered in a drop down in the listings screen. That option is no longer there.

Go to your Seller Hub and select the Listings with Questions:
It will take you to this page (below). There should be a drop down under Actions. If there isn't you just need to grab where the arrow is pointing and pull it out until there is, sometimes the columns aren't large enough and it hides the drop down.

I am also no longer able to mark ebay messages as answered, even after following your instructions. I went to my Seller Hub and selected all 5 of the Listings with Questions. It took me to page with a drop down under Actions, but there isn't an option to mark "as answered" or anything to do with messages. See attached...

Me too. What a pain. The seller hub is becoming a waste with useless notifications, e.g. listings with questions, unpaid items, etc. and no way to clear them out. EBAY ARE YOU LISTENING?

I noticed your "Action" column isn't very wide. If you are able to hover over where this arrow points in the picture I've attached it will give you the symbol with the 2 arrows going in opposite directions. You can pull that column out and make it wider, then the other options should magically appear.

Ok. Are you seeing something different?
I have heard from others that when they updated seller hub , there were more issues.
I have not yet seen any changes to my personal seller hub ( meaning the mysterious SH "plus" update some have mentioned or alluded to from CS)

Hey, eBay, this is still an issue. This thread was started 9 months ago.
Not being able to "mark as answered" is *still* a pain in the ass.
maybe if i say ASS this'll catch your attention

Just fixed the issue. You have to go to the classic site to find the mark as answered function. If not the function does not appear. Silly ..

My Ebay > Selling should take you right to the Seller Hub.
If you're trying to "Mark as Answered" go to Listings from the options just under the words Seller Hub going across the page (Overview | Orders | LISTINGS | Marketing Performance). You can also 'mouse over' Listings to get a drop down and click ACTIVE, either works.
Or, look on the Seller Hub page for the LISTINGS section and click Listings at the top of the section. Or, in the LISTINGS box on the Seller Hub there is an Active Listings and under it there should be 'with questions' option, just click on that.
Once in the 'WITH QUESTIONS' section, EXPAND (by dragging the crossbar) at the | the ''''ACTIONS'''' tab in the items area (not the one at the top as pictured - the one above the items area with Actions | Photo | Title | etc. so you can get the "MARK AS ANSWERED" option to appear.

Thank you! This was the key to the solution. Once I went to the Classic View, I was able to follow the instructions and the problem was solved!
