My active listings page is a mess. I have always had it set up for listings to show chronologically with those ending soonest to be shown first. Today, there is no reason to how they are listed. I have tried to customize it 3 times and it just keeps jumbling them all over the place.
smh

Have you tried logging out and back in? Change browsers?

Not sure exactly which page you are looking at (there are several possibilities), but on some selling pages you can sort your listings by clicking on the column headings. Is it possible you inadvertently clicked on something and sorted by a different column?

Yes. It makes no difference. It is still a random mess. I am pretty much done with ebay for both selling and buying. I have not done much here the last 2 years and these last changes were the last straw. I do better elsewhere.

I am not new to ebay. I know how to work the pages. I am looking at my current listings in the hub. I had it customized the way I wanted it since day one and logged in today to find a random chronological mess.

and he's telling you how you can rearrange the listings.......... which you didn't indicate you knew how to do....
Whatever your feelings about Ebay.........thanking someone who took the time to try to help you would be a nice gesture.

Changing the sort order does not require customizing the table. It simply requires clicking a column header, which is a "sticky" setting that is remembered when you leave and return.
My sort order get changed occasionally when I accidentally click a different column heading.
What happens when you click the "time left" column to set it as the default sort order?

If he read my original comment, I said I had tried to customize it. Whatever you think about ebay, treating someone like they're an idiot and then trying to shame them like you are doing is not a nice gesture.

Sigh. I am not going all over this again. I have done everything possible and it is still a random chronological mess. Or I should say was. I sold most everything for better prices at a show yesterday. Bye ebay.

BTW...Ebay CS response...."known issue affecting some sellers...working on it" 🙄

You don't have any active listings, so not sure what you are trying to sort, but once again...you do not change the sort order by using the customization options...you sort by clicking the column headings. Depending on the current sort, you may need to do it twice.

click on the 'time left' arrow column

That's right. This was the last straw. I sold most of the stuff at a local show Saturday ( therefore listings ended here) for better prices and am done with ebay. AGAIN...I KNOW how the pages work. I did everything. CS said it is a known issue, working on it, etc. People should try reading the entire thread. smh

I am looking at my current listings in the hub.
The reason responders keep responding is because you keep saying you customized the list. Customizing the list is NOT how you sort your Active ltems in Seller Hub. There is no customization for sort order...only check boxes for the columns you want to see (and the arrangement in which the columns appear across the page).
If you knew how to sort your Seller Hub active items list, you would have said you clicked the column heading for End Date once or twice to sort it for time ending soonest or latest (it might take two clicks) and that did not work. There is no column called Time ending soonest in Seller Hub.
But you keep referring to customization, and that is how responders know you are not reading or understanding what we are writing.
Maybe you are confusing the Seller Hub active items list with the search results page which has a customization for Time Ending Soonest as a default sort order. That sort order has no impact on your Seller Hub pages.
I understand you are leaving eBay (which seems odd that you are taking all this time to go back and forth about a problem that won't ever bother you again), but I didn't want you to leave believing that you understood what you thought you understood and that all the people here who are taking time to try to help you with the information you need to fix your problem are blithering idiots.
Good luck to you.
