I can't seem to list my item. I keep getting a "This is embarrasing, Listing tool not working" message. And it's been going on for hours. I've tried alternate browsers too. Is this a problem on ebay's side or on mine?

I've also had this issue for the last 2 weeks. I've been able to use the workaround of finding a similar item already listing and clicking the "have one to sell" button, but if there isn't already a similar listing, I can't add anything.

Have you tried the advanced listing form? I am not sure if the problem is happening more with the app and quick listing tool.

Yes, I mentioned trying the advanced listing form earlier, and getting farther with it, but it seems to be for sellers with a lot of the same item. After I had some difficulty with the postage, I backed out.

I was able to reach someone yesterday evening (Sunday). He replicated my issue on his screen. He said he was sending the information to the tech team for solution. In the mean time, his suggestion was to use the advanced listing option which I was able to see.
My concern with the advanced listing is a required field is the UPC code which clothes and other items do not have. Can I put 10 zeros in field or is there another way to work around the issue?

Another update: not all of the "Sell one like this" selections work, but if more than one are available, one of them might.
Also, I've been able to list some items after the condition pop-up is checked. This doesn't occur for many categories, which may have been why I had earlier problems after changing a category prior to the main information listing screen.

Now there doesn't seem to be a pattern, whether or not the condition pop-up screen is seen. I've listed several items tonight, but failed to list others.
Also, while I was entering postage, the screen defaulted to a weight of 1 pound, no ounces; the item weighs less. When I entered zero for pounds before changing ounces, the "embarrassing" screen came up.

Twice now on live chat, twice told they had sent a message to techs outlining issue, twice told I would get an email in 24-48 hours, twice now no email. What f**** are they doing?

I'm getting the same message and have been for the last two weeks or so. In fact, I even get the message when trying to revise an existing listing.

This discussion is from last year but I'm experiencing the same problem now ... have been getting the "This is embarrassing" message for the past week when trying to list an item. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Try using a different browser to list, particularly if you are using Internet Explorer 11. IE11 has been causing problems for users for the past month or so, mostly regarding viewing the main page and signing in, but possibly also with using Seller Hub or listing.
