When I click on Terapeak product research link I get an error message "You've exceeded the number of requests allowed in one day. Please try again tomorrow." I have never gotten this before and I can not find anyway around it. I have reset everything and still get the message. Any Ideas out there?

I am getting about 150 searches a day in reality (The limit probably is 250). Keep in mind every time you change a filter or go from Active to Sold those count as a new search.

velvet@ebay wrote:Thanks for clarifying @glasser. I did a little more research and it appears there is a daily search limit. Terapeak will only allow 250 queries/day. Each search is basically a query and each filter addition, date range change, and keyword addition, trigger a new search. It sounds like you and others would like this to be unlimited and I do appreciate the feedback. In the meantime, I hope it helps to know an exact number.
We have multiple employees that are pricing and listing. We were paying for multiple subscriptions of Terapeak before eBay purchased it. Limiting the number of searches per day is limiting how much we can list on eBay. Thank you for passing our feedback to the proper parties.

They really need to remove this limit or have some sort of paid tier system. A limit across the board is too limiting and makes it harder to use their website. Sellers need to be able to research freely without issues because otherwise there is too much guesswork involved in determining information about items and the market for those items.

This may have been mentioned already, but worth repeating. You can leave reviews and suggestions for Terapeak here: https://connect.ebay.com/srv/survey/a/b2c.sellerhub.terapeak
It seems you can use this link as often and as many times as you want. I will be doing so until there is some sort of resolution.

I did not hit a limit today even though I was well over 250 queries. Can anyone else confirm?

I did not hit a limit today and I was well over 250 queries. Can you confirm they have changed this? If so, thanks so much for any part you had in it!

Don't know if this will work for everyone, but I've noticed since I started having this issue a week ago that even though I get the message and am blocked on Firefox and Safari, Ebay continues to function perfectly on the same computer as long as I'm using Chrome as my browser. I'm also convinced it has nothing to do with a limit but rather it's a glitch. I've had it happen late in the day and I've had it happen early in the day after one or 2 transactions.

This issue is rearing it's ugly head again for me, anybody else? Haven't had the issue in about a year but now has happened a couple times over the last couple weeks.

From eBay:
"I'm Victoria with eBay Concierge and am more than happy to lend a helping hand.
Terapeak will only allow 250 queries/day. Each search is a query. And each filter addition, date range change, and keyword addition, trigger a new search."
I previously was using the eBay Trading API for findCompleteItems to help determine pricing; eBay deprecated that API on 10/15/2020 with very little notice. The only tool left available is TeraPeak and now they are restricting this? Absolutely unacceptable. Everyone should contact eBay to complain.
That is nice. I wonder why that is? If they just want to slow it down for people just doing research maybe they could tie it to listings. Such as if you reached you limit but you are listing items because of the searches then maybe give you a few more searches and continue to allow as long as you are listing.

I have 12,000 unique listings. I’ve gotten it for the first time today. Sold 3,800ish items in the last 90 days. It is absolutely absurd to me that as an ANCHOR store subscriber that there is ANY kind of restriction on the tools necessary to successfully list and sell on the platform

I keep getting this message when I'm scanning barcodes. I scan barcodes at a local bookstore and now I'm limited by my number of searches. I was transitioning to working full time on eBay and now Im questioning if that's even possible with this absurd limit. It's affecting my daily productivity and I can't even fathom why such a limit is in place..and I don't have much hope that this will get fixed for me.
