Stuck at "Saving" when trying to relist an item

Hello.   Is there some kind of issue with Ebay concerning selling stuff.  I am trying to relist an item.   When I click on the List Item button it does nothing and then gets stuck on "Saving" in the beginning of the page.  In the Fees section it looks like it is still trying to process something as we have that looping circle thing.  

Anybody had a issue re-listing today or in the past couple days?

Yep, same but it seems to be only doing this in the trading cards category for me.  I reached out to eBay For Business on FB but have yet to get a reply.

Well given that they change the rules on cards every 2 weeks on here, I guess I should be surprised that I am locked on something

   I've recently had the same occasional problem with hitting the list button and it just going into a "saving" loop. it was very frustrating when I had just taken about 20 minutes to set up a new or "sell similar" listing, then have it not go thru when I hit list item. Then I had to reload the page and start all over again.

   I solved it by hitting "save as draft" instead, then going to my drafts listing and selecting "complete draft" next to the item, and then scroll down and hit list item. It worked for me every time.

   It's a work-around, sure, but at least I didn't have to take another 20 minutes to redo the listing from scratch. I hope it works for you.

It's a good work-around.  I had to 'save as draft' the other day.  Once it didn't work, though, and I had to dump the listing because the upload was completely stalled.  It only takes me a couple of minutes to write up a listing so I didn't bother opening the site on another browser and seeing if I could somehow goose the listing lol.  I wouldn't be too happy if my listings were more involved and I lost all that work, though.  😠

There have been so many glitches in the last few weeks it's hard to keep track of them.

I just experienced the same thing while listing a couple of banks. I found that even though it's in a loop the items still got listed.

Hmmmmm... Thanks for bringing this up.

   Maybe I had better go to my listings page and make sure I didn't somehow do a double listing with minor changes, if the first one actually went thru when it was in a "saving" loop.

   It does seem to be a legitimate Ebay glitch, though, seeing that it is happening to more than one seller.

I finally got your option to work but it seems like have to get out of the current tab and created a new tab in order to do it. 

I also think that if you try to "list item" while it is doing this weird auto save thing that it locks up.  Maybe I am wrong on this.

Just started happening to me, too. For both relisting AND new listings. Severely delaying my listing frequency. Extremely aggravating.

Yep, same problem here, been trying to list some X-men comics and it gets stuck, I am going to my email to see if I get a notice that it HAS listed and clicking on the email to get to the sell similar to list my next item, taking twice as long.

   Yes, I forgot to mention that you may need to open another tab when calling up the draft... I always have three Ebay tabs open, so I forgot to tune into that extra step. Just be sure the draft is correct, though, before listing!

   If you're listing a lot, you may need to keep two tabs constantly open. A real pain in the tush, but workable until Ebay corrects the lockup. 

   It happens on any of my listing categories, so it isn't limited to any one particular category, but perhaps system wide.

This bug is not category-specific. Look around in this forum, dozens of complaints about this, for many months.

Is anybody from eBay listening? Heck no, the only suckers using their **bleep** listing tool are small sellers. The large sellers use expensive third-party software. Meanwhile, in eBay for Business on Facebook , the eBay public relations team creates posts like "Our Chief Product Officer, Pete Thompson, released a new blog post which talks about how eBay is creating seamless and efficient listing experiences for sellers."

Pete Thompson. Remember that name. If you can find his e-mail, share it here. Perhaps he should hear about the bugs.

PS You know that button in the listing tool that says Save and Preview? It doesn't save. Pretty good joke on eBay sellers, right?

If you bang that "Save" button a few times it may save, and at least it saves it as a draft.  SMH - eBay has ONE JOB, and that is to allow us to list.  🙄

Okay I just noticed that the listing that I was trying to relist and got stuck in "saving" is shown in 3 different listings .    So maybe it actually did list the item but got stuck in the pop up telling us about this
