Today I have a "Shipping overdue - Ship by June 12" message for a combined order that was paid for on June 12th. Is anyone else getting incorrect "Shipping overdue" dings from eBay?

It started yesterday for me. I have 4 day handling time after cleared payment in all my auctions. I looked at the auctions that closed and that is what it still states on my closed auctions. Now everything is due to be shipped 24 hours after payment is received or I am in "Violation" for shipping dates. Can't wait to see what glitches take place once Mis-Managed payments kicks in next month. "E" ticket ride coming I predict.

Be persistent. Had to go on chat line help desk 4 times to get issue sent to customer service then TECH DEPARTMENT for fixing. Once ticket generated your stale shipping listings will not impact DSR. I found it kind of hard to ship something yesterday that was paid late in the evening and I open business to three stale orders already. Help desk kept saying I must have 1 day shipping option when I have all my listings marked as 2 day or 48 hours after payment received. You have to report this or it never gets fixed. EBay only winner here if we all have lower DSR [ ratings] and lose percentage credits off month sales. Everyone with issue and I mean everyone should be contacting the help center to get this fixed ASAP. If no one complains , except here, they will never know or fix it.

I went to chat the same day I opened this discussion. I was told nothing could be done until the late shipping showed up as a defect in my statistics, even thou the person saw the late shipping message in the sales detail report. I told her at the time that this was a technical issue eBay needed to fix. I've saved a copy of the chat transcript in case I need it if or when the defect shows up.

This just happened to me again on my other selling ID. I had a combined order of 10 postcards sold by auction. 6 ended on June 27 and 4 ended on June 29. The buyer paid for all 10 on June 30. On July 1 there was an error message: "Shipping overdue - Ship by Jun 30" which also appears on the Order number 08-05314-05279. I checked and all 10 listings have a 2-day handling time, so I should have been OK mailing on July 2nd. I should only have gotten this error if I had same day shipping, which I DID NOT!

Is anyone else getting erroneous "Shipping overdue" messages?

I just talked with a helpful eBay Support person about this. She logged in to my account and we both went to the Order number 08-05314-05279. I had previously printed a copy of this order number which showed the error message. However, the error message is no longer there... So it looks like my false error messages will not have an impact on my seller status.

My guess is the error is caused by using the auction end date of 6 items (June 27) instead of the paid date of all 10 items (June 30). It is just another of the many technical errors that needs fixing. If eBay wants to see the error message I have a copy of the order number which contains it showing date sold Jun 30, 2020 and date paid Jun 30, 2020.

@somanypcs This is happening every time an invoice is generated. You're lucky the issue fixed itself, there are others, myself included that will soon lose TRS status because of this error. We are told to contact customer service which is typically a total waste of time.

brian@ebay more people impacted by the invoicing - shipping timeline bug. Needs to be fixed, now.
