Maybe E-Bay fixed the issue then, because I am not seeing this message on my Shipping Labels page or my Orders page. If they were showing this message and now they aren't, maybe that's a good sign.

It happened to me yesterday. A label I printed showed up as delivered to a different address two days ago and I didn't even send the item out yet!! The buyer actually brought it to my attention a couple hours after I printed it. They said there must be an error because my package shows delivered and I just paid for it. I just talked to an eBay rep today and they hadn't heard of this happening and told me to have the label voided at the post office and make a new one. When I went to make a new one, I saw the message about the issue. Hopefully I can send it out as is and the tracking will show properly when scanned by the USPS.

Purchased label yesterday Saturday 9/28.. was given a already used tracking number that shows delivered to another state than the buyer just last week and and originated from another state than myself earlier this month.
Spoke to eBay yesterday and today and have now been told to just ship the package and that it “should” update. I am hesitant but might just wait in line tomorrow at the post office for once for a drop off receipt and to confirm with them the package seems all good. This is just so strange, hopefully tracking actually updates once dropped off.

Hello, since I created this post, just supplying an update on this. Because I was not comfortable with my one label I created yesterday showing it was in Greensboro, NC and I had not even supplied it to the post office, I called Ebay Customer Service today. I was eventually transferred to a specialist. They said I had two options - #1 - Leave the tracking as is and she assured me the package would still properly be tracked to the location when I eventually drop it off at the post office. #2- Void the label now and create a new label if I am still not comfortable with the current tracking showing Greensboro, NC. I chose #2 and the specialist immediately refunded me my original postage. I printed out a new label with correct tracking. I know Ebay Customer Service is hammered many times within the Ebay Community and to be honest, I am not 100% satisfied with them at times, they did very well in this instance. Thanks.

I only have one label purchased yesterday that already is in use on someone else's package. I tore it off my package and I'll go to post office tomorrow and post my other stuff and the one I tore the label off of. Then I'll manually put tracking in when I get home unless Ebay gets it fixed soon. Penny_Pinching_Jewelry

Ebay customer service contacted an Account Specialist who refunded the cost of shipping on the package I bought postage for yesterday and told me to buy another label.
Anyone bought a correct label today?

That’s good to hear! They keep telling me they can’t refund me because this is a usps issue and to contact usps.. so frustrating as it is ebays issue. Guess I’ll try and contact them once more tomorrow because I don’t feel comfortable shipping this label either even though they are claiming it’s fine

Ive also been told they can't refund the bad label. I purchased a 2nd label that worked, but now I'm out the shipping cost twice (on a $9.99 free shipping item). I'm unable to void/cancel the bad label as I get an error it's already been used.. thanks ebay

Very frustrating… and I’m being told to ship this and it’s fine which I highly doubt. Pretty ridiculous.. going to call tomorrow once more you should do the same. We shouldn’t have to waste money on 2 shipping labels.
When eBay has these types of issues they need to create an internal alert for all reps on what to do for sellers. I hate how we all always get different resolutions and answers when we are all dealing with the exact same issue. It’s very frustrating they keep denying us a refund.. I feel they still don’t understand the issue totally either which is another issue entirely and a very common occurrence at least ime reps just always have a hard time understanding the issue and just give horrible help half the time

I would ask to talk to an account specialist if the original person doesn't understand. An account specialist immediately refunded me my money when she figured out what happened. Read up above at my post for assistance. Thanks.

The next time you call, if the original person doesn't understand, ask to talk to an account specialist about this issue. The one I talked to immediately knew what was going on. I hope that helps!!

Just got off phone with PO in Elmore. Tracking number is incorrect. Sent to Lake Bend Elmore. Either package was delivered to another person or glitch in Ebay or Post Office system. PO in Elmore contacting another PO to see if packages have been sent to other people instead of correct address also. Please reply ASAP. Thank you.
