Sharp photos on IPad uploading to Ebay blurred and low res

Photos that I upload from my iPad to Ebay that are sharp and clear on my iPad are uploading blurry and the wrong colors.  I am uploading  the original size.

Is there anything that can be done.

1. Resample to 1600 pixels on the longest side,

2. save as PNG,

3. then upload.
