@lisah8752 first mentioned this in conjunction with another problem report in a different post, but I thought it important enough that it deserved a separate thread of its own:
It appears that the values for the Scheduled Hour and Scheduled Minutes pulldown menus are being displayed to the user in the wrong format. Values are being shown in decimal form by mistake, which in turn makes each entry too wide for the pulldown window, and shows only the erroneous leading zero and decimal point:
Scheduled Hour and Minutes Display Error
If you can count down the rows accurately, you can still make the correct selection (such as 8:00 p.m. in the screenshot above), but obviously the display is wrong, and more than a little confusing. This error is showing in both the Hour and Minutes pulldown menus.

It seems some of the drop down menu's are now far too narrow including the "Status" menu.
I hope you get more sense out of your reps. All a UK rep had to say about this was...........
"I've reviewed this for you again, and this wouldn't be a technical issue. Also, the issue wouldn't be related to your device or browser, this is the way the website works at the moment. I appreciate this is a change this you don't like, so I will pass on this as a feedback, so it can be taken into consideration for future updates."
So it's "working as designed". Just a terrible design when you can't see anything.

Yes, I'm thinking that maybe what it's trying to show is the first digit, followed by a three-dot ellipsis character ("...") to indicate that the value is truncated by the narrow column width, but doesn't even have enough width to show more than one dot of the ellipsis. For example, the value of "11" in the screen shot above shows that the column is just wide enough to squeeze the two Ones digits in without having to truncate them.

Well, no, although perhaps that's Customer Service working as designed. 😉 He picked some pre-written phrases for his reply that he thought would fit the occasion. It seems to show that he didn't understand the problem you were trying to report.

Hi,
Yes I have had this exact same problem on Ebay Australia. Expected it was a technical hitch in the Ebay system when it showed up about a week ago and they would resolve the issue swiftly. It is annoying having to sit at the computer loading listings with adequate in-between time spaces manually. Have not found a solution yet!!

Having the same exact problem here in USA over 2 weeks now...reported it but still no fix...

Hi devon@ebay and Happy New Year... 🙂
Can you find out what the ALERT number is for this issue? It's really silly that an error this obvious has (1) gotten into Production - QA or proper testing would have spotted it immediately - and (2) hasn't been fixed already.

Hey @a_c_green! I have looked and have not seen any ALERT numbers to share on this. I will ask a few different teams to see if I can find anything out and will let you know if there is some insight I can share.

Are you all going to get this fixed? Yes it's little to you but big to sellers who scedule listings. This has been going on to long and seems like should be a simple fix. Why mess with Scheduled start times column it's alot of extra work for sellers. you take our money for sales can't you fix these irritating issues as they go down? I am not listing much with this going on please advise it's so unacceptable. been selling 19 years stop monkeying with the basics. you take our fees and won't change errors very fast?

Thanks for a great explanation, and your workaround suggestion works perfectly!

Okay, as of yesterday morning (Jan. 27th) it appears that the coding errors in the pulldown menus for Scheduled Start Time have quietly been fixed at last.
