Search page malfunctions in app and now on site.

The eBay saved search page is not functioning properly again. You cannot save a new search or delete an old search. I first tried on the app and thought it was another glitch there but, later tried it on the site with the same results. I enter my search, edit the parameters, and then save it. When I go to the search page, it is gone. Also, if I delete any of my searches, they come right back. I have tried this in the latest versions of Chrome, IE, Edge, and Firefox.

I am getting similar results -- I thought I was able to successfully delete a search using Opera, but subsequent reloads of both the saved search page and the search results page seem to randomly flip back and forth between unsaved and saved states.

 

Any search worth saving is worth bookmarking, too. That is not much help if you are primarily using the app, though.

Like you, I’m having similar problems on the iOS app.  Once I view all of my new saved searches and then refresh the page, the little blue dots come right back indicating that there are a bunch of new results again, when really there aren’t.  I also cannot delete/alter any of my saved searches.  Its good to know that it’s happening on the website too.

I'm having the same issues as well. It matters not whether I'm using the mobile app or the website. On the website it says something to the effect of "we can't add this item right now please try again later, " and on the mobile app it will either say something about "no content" or a server error. It does this every time I try to save a search. And I have already tried logging out on all devices and even uninstalling the app and clearing the data.

Interesting. I am not seeing any error messages; when I delete or unsave a search, it appears to complete the task without apparent errors. Except that later, when checking the page again, the "deleted" search still appears, or the newly saved search fails to appear.

Same behavior, I guess I just got messages. And like the other person, my "new results" blue dots keep reappearing when they arent new. It also doesn't show a blue dot when if I manually search, there ARE new results. Generally, looks like the whole saved search feature is utterly useless currently.

It seemed to work for a couple of hours yesterday and now it is dead again. LOL

Cannot delete saved search for an item I already bought. Also cannot unsubscribe from the email notification when new items are found that match my search. Now every morning I'm getting notified about new items for a lower cost than I paid and THAT makes me grumpy!!

 

I just want the search deleted before buyer's remorse sets in LOL!!
