Saving sellers as a search not working

I used to be able to search for a seller and then save that search to receive emails when items are added... it seems to be missing now... was that intentional?

Re: Saving sellers as a search not working

You should be able to save up to 200 sellers. Check to see that you are not already at the maximum. You can see a count of saved searches and sellers at the top of your feed page:

https://www.ebay.com/feed

If you are at the maximum, try deleting some older sellers and see if that allows you to save new ones. Or try alternative means to keep track of sellers, such as bookmarking profile pages directly.

If that is not the issue, try another browser to see if that allows you to save a seller.

Re: Saving sellers as a search not working

I am with you on this one.  Ebay discontinued the ability to save a search for a specific seller about a year ago.  DON'T delete any of these searches you currently have, because you won't be able to set them up again.  Some of my old ones are still getting emails.  Sadly, it is substantially more time consuming to  check each saved seller every day -vs- an email when relevant.

No, the feature still exists and still works.

If you are not already at the maximum, and you are unable to save a seller using the iOS version of the app, try using a browser instead to save a seller.

Re: Saving sellers as a search not working

Probably safe to assume that the average person doesn't have 200 saved sellers in their list. Might be something else.

It worked when I went to the Seller's Store, clicked "See All", did a search for a type of their item and then clicked the "Save this search" link next to the count of search results.
