For several months last Spring, only 4 of the 30 or so Searches that I've Saved were generating emails to notify me of the availability on ebay of items that I was seeking. Sometime during teh Summer, the problem was finally fixed, and I began to receive regular emails again — that is, until the beginning of this week (10/1/18), when the same glitch returned, and once again, I stopped receiving email notifications for most of my saved Searches. Is eBay staff aware of the problem, which is fast becoming chronic? Doesn't eBay care that by not sending rqeuested alerts to their members, they're losing who-knows-how-many potnetial sales for their Sellers and commissions for eBay iteslf? Once and for all, please fix the problem.

Im not affected by the alerts - but the contents of the 'saved searches' section have disappeared - more dimprovements from the ebay technical team.

Cant see items - cant buy em - i feel for the sellers who pay good fees for well below average platform.

As usual, Ebay is fixing what isn't broken. My saved searches are not working either, no email and in some cases, the "edit search" is missing on just specific categories.

Personally I am very friggin tired of Ebay trying to "Stear" me to what they want me to see.

Have you noticed that now items show in your search that are in other "more from this seller" and "you may also be interested in" carousels?

Hare to spend money at a company where they insist on having you buy from their "favorite" sellers. By that I mean directing to those which give ebay the most money from their sales.

To ebay. FIX THE **bleep** SEARCHES, SAVED AND LIVE AND QUIT SCREWING AROUND WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS.

I'm having just the opposite problem: since 9/29/2018, I've been receiving two emails for each saved search. I only have a few saved searches, of which one gets triggered several times a week and the others much less often. I double checked my Saved Searches page to make sure I hadn't duplicated a search, but I hadn't. There's definitely only one saved search with these criteria, but I'm getting two emails every night.

I am not receiving most of my saved search notifications, either. I am only getting a few of them. What is going on??? This is really annoying. If this is a yet another so-called improvement, they sure got it wrong. I can't tell you how many times I have bought something because it showed up in my e-mail from my saved searches. They are losing business - and I agree that the sellers should be upset, too.

Well, I guess I'm not the only one. It's a pain in the ... I collect postcards so I have a large amout of "Saved Searches".

It has been nearly 2 weeks since I've gotten emails of my Saved Searches. Today I got one (out of nearly 100!). Last time this happened--in June I think--I remeber being grateful that I had no selling listings as this has to REALLY impact sellers. Well, this time I had many valuable items up for sale. I ended some listings and let others run but I know they are selling for less than if the entire eBay community had seen them. I have stopped listing on eBay and URGE ALL EBAY SELLERS TO STOP LISTING UNTIL THIS ISSUE IS RESOLVED AND THE SAVED SEARCH EMAILS RETURN TO NORMAL. Pass it on. Only organized action will whip eBay into doing something. PASS IT ON.

I'm glad to hear that eBay has owned up to the problem and are working on it. I urge all sellers TO STOP LISTING UNTIL THIS ISSUE IS RESOLVED. You are losing money because a large portion of the eBay buying public may well be unaware of your listing! Maybe a massive drop in listings will spur them on!

Hi, trinton@ebay. Thank you for replying to this thread. Do you know whether my issue of getting two copies of each Saved Search email is related to the main issue discussed here of people getting no emails?

I don’t know. I do know there are times that eBay tweaks the site for some reason and there are unintended consequences. Yours may be part of this issue. I have been sometimes getting 2 (of 90 or so) Saved Searches. Something’s wrong. Hopefully they will fix it soon

eBay you've got to be losing a massive amount of sales because for probably the third time in the past year you are NOT sending emails notices about new items for saved searches. What gives??????????????? Surely your sophisticated and highly paid techie staff can fix this issue once and for all in an expeditious manner???
