Sale Event/Markdown not working?

Anyone else having issues creating a sale event/markdown?  I'm able to create the event..add listings, creat rules, launch, etc.....but no items are actually added to the sale & the markdown isn't showing up.

This really is ridiculous, haha. It's literally impossible to even use the feature. So do not touch the price for 14 days, and do not put it on sale more than once. Insane.

just tried to create one too and it is not showing either. on my promotions page it shows active but there are no active listings. i tried a free ship promotion with a minimum purchase amount. this my first promotion so there should be no restrictions by ebay

They have changed it back somewhat. Now you can put items on sale as long as they have been listed for 14 days and the price hasn't changed on them.

I have created several sales that end one day and now I can put them on sale the next day as long as they meet the above requirements.

Thanks eBay and I mean that sincerely.

I truly appreciate being able to put my items on sale because that how most people shop, I know I do.

I am SO DISGUSTED!!!! My sales are down 90 PERCENT!  since last month because my promotions won’t “ take “ on the system!!!! This is now at least the 3rd week! I have tried to re-do the promotions numerous times, but still no luck. 

I tried calling ebay, which I always dread and have to be prepared to spend at least an hour and a half on the phone to achieve the slightest little thing! I am usually tossed around from person to person, department to department , and usually routed out of the United States where the dialect is simply not the same and makes these calls even more challenging and infuriating! During my last 2 calls, I was given bogus false promises and apologies. NO GOOD! 

Tonight, I tried yet again. I was on hold for 32 minutes and NO ONE EVER PICKED UP THE PHONE! I do have a life, and can’t spend this kind of time on the phone! I’m sure I speak for many when I say this !

THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER, EBAY! FOR MYSELF AND MANY OTHERS_ THIS IS OUR ONLY SOURCE OF INCOME!

I too cannot create a sale.

I also really resent the pressure to offer free returns, and free shipping.  I am a small seller, not Amazon.  Like so many other things, the system favors Big Business, not the small guy.  I used to get a 20% discount as a Power Seller, then it was 10%, and now many of my items don't qualify at all because I can't do the free returns nonsense.  In addition, all my stock in ebay and Paypal fell so much it all sold, luckily because I had a stop-loss in place.   What this all adds up to, to me, is that ebay has seen its glory days and is on its way out.  I have been a seller for about 15 years.  It was SOOOOO different in the beginning.  Most things were auctions, in fact I think everything was as there was initially no Buy It Now, and virtually everything sold in the week it was listed.  Now the site is inundated, very very competitive, and my feeling is that I am getting out within the next year.  Probably forever.  Corporate Greed has once again prevailed.
