It would be totally awesome if eBay could make it MANDATORY for a Buyer to message a Seller prior to POSTING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK.
I think all sellers would like to work out issues with a buyer and maintain an Excellent Feedback rating.
As every Seller knows, eBay DOES NOT allow Negative Feedback from Seller to Buyer, so, we should be given the opportunity to correct any situations that may arise during a sell prior to Negative Feedback on the Seller.
Most all issues can be cured, if Buyers just communicated prior to leaving Negative Feedback. And honestly, I feel it shouldn't be so easy for a Buyer to just Pop a Negative Feedback to a Seller without at least giving the Seller a chance to fix any issues first.
Just my thoughts. this would be an amazing add on and tool!

Just as an add on note. Most feedback left for a Seller is for issues like Delivery times, Confusion of a Buyer not fully reading the listing, shipping damage, etc...a lot of things that are out of a Sellers control; BUT Negative Feedback is the Buyers first choice, instead of communication.
And most all sellers are more than willing to make most issues correct within their power on these simple things...we need the ability to give customer service first and make these easily fixable things fixed. And change a frown to a smile 🙂

That's been suggested for all the 14 years I've been here...........ebay is obviously not going to require buyers to confront sellers before leaving feedback.........
