I wish this had been mentioned in the ebay for business video. Is there not a way for you to add something on our listing page, so we can report errors problems as we find them????

When is eBay going to copy the missing items specifics from the old fields into the new??? Is eBay going to clean up the drop-down choices, add back some that used to be there that are now gone? Fix typos in the drop-downs? Remove redundant, duplicative choices in the drop-downs? Remove stupid item specifics that have nothing to do with the category of the item in question? Stop hounding sellers to provide recommended specifics that don't even apply to the garment being sold? And, please, please, please stop auto-filling fields for me! It is more work proof reading to figure out what stupid thing has been filled in for me and removing it than it is just to fill in what actually applies by hand. For example, for every blue garment that I sell, eBay wants to fill in Character: Blue. Every gold item I sell, eBay want to add Feature: Metallic. For every item that I use the word "back" in my title, eBay fills in Compression Area: Back. Every item I use the word "waist" in the title, eBay fills in Compression Area: Waist. And the wasted time list goes on and on and on.

This **bleep** has been going on so long without anything being corrected I'm getting the feeling this community board is just here as an opiate to make us think we've been heard instead of being completely ignored in the hopes we will just grow weary and give up.

I believe (fe)eBay is actually on crack, @dblendeavors , and not to make light of any drug epidemic, but we certainly need our "fix" for this mess...

Just for info........

I sent an IS complaint to the email address on 10/16 complaining about the size type.......they just sent confirmation of the correction, which eliminates all except Reg/Big & Tall/enter your own.  Still errors in a number of other IS..  Don't know if that's going to be the only way to get corrections or not.........but it did seem to work.....albeit, not terribly quickly.

I think my previous post does echo what some are saying........we need a definitive answer from Ebay about what EXACTLY they are changing/going to change..... The problems are pretty obvious when you actually look at the individual IS......in many categories........are they actually looking at them/changing them.......or are they going at it piecemeal from what is reported here?

I am frustrated by these same questions and have the same exact problems with listings using those words. I keep wondering why IS which only pertain to left hand navigation are so important when Jeff Kafka said most searches done on our site are QUERY. Drop Down menus which do not describe our items do not help buyers find our items. It's 3 weeks now so maybe drop down menus aren't changing. I noticed on some of the pages have an updated look. Fixing drop down menus should be priority to any cosmetic changes the site has.

Thanks for posting this! I thought it was just me.
I 'sent' four counter offers...none went through.
3 hours later, one finally went...but I have no way of knowing if the (potential) buyer saw it.

What is going on with this issue. You guys have been radio silent for almost a week. Now yiu changed the sizing on jeans/pants and removed the "in" for inches. Why isn't there any reasonable communication about what is being addressed and when we can expect changes.

Last week the fields you mentioned were just being recommended in my listings. Just now I noticed that Lilli was entered (not recommended) for character for a lilly pulitzer skirt. It also autopopulated waist for compression area because the title had the words waist tie in it. Please edit the code.

My Sales Data in the seller hub is STILL not correct. It's taking from between hours to days to correctly update.
